My point is Redd is at his prime right now, and in a season or two his game will only go down from there. Also my point is Mo, Yi, Bogut all are still young and can only get better. The core of ths team is Mo, Yi, and Bogut.

There is no point at all in keeping Redd. Whats gonna happen with Redd on the team? The Bucks are gonna have to resign Bogut and I could be wrong but we are not gonna have any cap room for atleast 3+ years. Also do you honestly think this team can win a championship with Redd?

The last handful of games without Redd the Bucks moved the ball played team basketball, everyone was involved, Mo, Bell, CV, Bogut, Simmons all stepped there game up. The team had less talent with Redd out, but Mo lead the team better then Redd could ever lead them.

With Redd gone players have to step up this will help the team develope. In my opinon Mo is a better player then Redd. Mo is a player that can avg 15ppg and 8 assists easily and getting everyone involved unlike Redd. Mo's D is also very underrated and I think he plays solid defense and he is in the top 20 for steals a game in the NBA.

Look how the team plays without Redd, now imagine if we got a few solid players for Redd. Im not talking about a allstar type player but just a few solid players that can contribute maybe one that can start and we shed Redds contract. I think thats the way to go and this is my opinon only.

Why is Redds game going to go down? The only guys that start going down at 30 are the speedsters (and even then it can take longer) or the athletic dependant guys (like Mason or Patterson types).

When I think of trading Redd I think of a deal that will give us two young players where one of them will start and another will come off the bench and eventually start. Something like this.

Ronnie Brewer and CJ Miles.

That is a good point, but he won't be the, and I compare him to Ray Allen and just bc Redds games isnt speed or dunking he will still slow down, and become less athletic.

You dont need 'younger players' YOU NEED WINNERS!!!

Stop getting garbage we have to wait to be picked up, or in this case top mature. We got enough young talent. Get some proven winners!

All you fans think about is young players. Yes the Blazers and Hawks are doing well but they are managed better then we are.

You have Yi and the rights to Eran and Bogut and Mo and Noel. Work with that. You need to get a leader, a star and a winner...

No way in hell Portland will even think about busting up that young core. That core is the best young core in the entire NBA, BAR NONE!

BAR NONE! They would be foolish as would Utah to do so ...

What makes you think Yi will not leave us as a free agent?

If Houston or Golden State go after him then bye bye Yi. Unless we are serious playoff threat I think Yi will unfortunatley leave us in a few years.

If Yi leaves the Bucks then we are in trouble. I don't see that happening unless when Yi is a FA we are not a solid playoff team. If the Bucks are not a solid playoff team when Yi is about to become a FA then I don't blame him for leaving.

As long as Redd's body holds up from drawing fouls he should still be at the end of his prime when all the other guys hit theirs, that sounds like a pretty good program. In the meantime maybe we can win more than 28 games a year too.

What Kohl said about speed and athleticism, and Redd's not a Kobe, J O'Neal or Garnett who started putting that pro mileage on teenage bodies either.

You guys seem right about Redd still being at the end of his prime when the rest of the young players start to hit there prime. I was wrong, but I still think the Bucks are better off without Redd unless Redd wants to restructure his contract and play team ball.

I'm a huge fan of Mo's but his perimeter D blows, period.

Firstly i will admit being from Oz I do not know the US market that well but,,I seriously believe you will have major trouble holding onto Yi when the time comes regardless of how the team is going.

I just think Milwaukee is just to small a market for Yi. I see him going to a major hub where he can attract more off court money .

I hope I am wrong.

For the record Mo's 19th in the NBA in spg and 17th in total steals. 1.5/game is his career-best though.

But looking at his whole stat line compared to either last year or his career is a beautiful thing in general. 48% from the field, 2.4 assists for every turnover. Maybe the best we can hope for is those more steals if he can't hold his man straight up.

imho, Yi staying or leaving debate is too early and maybe a moot point when the time comes.

Its just something we have to face.

Yi never wanted to be here, he most likely still does not want to be here and is just going to play out the remainder of his contract.

I really like Yi, but I hate to say that he is going to leave as soon as he gets the chance.

maybe you're right that he wants to leave as soon as he get the chance to leave, i think the keyword is CHANCE, if he is bust or just average, bucks will trade him, if he is good, bucks can give him the best contract. and there are really so many factors involved, like are we winning, or which teams wants him at that time, cap space and others. just imho.

also that a lot can happen in four years and it's pretty silly to try to handicap that yet. but i would be interested in who you say will win the 2012 election.
