OT: Scalping Tickets

I've never scalped a ticket before, and I'm in a position this weekend (being from Seattle but also a huge Wisconsin sports fan) that I'm desperate for a seat.
I've seen it done, but I'm wondering if anyone has tips on the best place to find a seller, how to get a good price, making sure the tickets are legit, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you talking about, Bucks tickets? Packers? For Packers they have a Scalpers area across the street from Lambeau. It's illegal in Green Bay but that area is in Ashwaubenon. For Bucks games it's illegal close to the Bradley Center, although some people do it, but you can stand outside Major's and do it.

Not much of a market for Bucks tickets though. You won't get anywhere near face value.

Sorry I misread your post.

If you are looking for Packer tickets then yes go to the Scalpers area. But be prepared to wait. They will start out high. If you are willing to go in right before kickoff, or even miss the first couple of minutes you will get a better deal.

You can also wonder around the parking lot asking if anyone has extra tickets. Sometimes you just might find them that way.

This particular situation regards the Packers/Seahawks, but it is also about scalping in general.

Thanks for the info though. Any thoughts on making sure the ticket is good? I know GB is a decent place, but I dont' have $200 to blow on a fake/used ticket.

Plus, I'm stuck in Milwaukee until noon, so I won't be there until right before/after the kick anyway.

There is no way to guarantee the ticket 100%. You could buy from a broker but you would have to do that ahead of time. End zone seats are going for around $200. Then at least you would have your tickets before you left and not have to scramble to get them. Too bad you can't leave until noon. Tailgating around Lambeau is fun. Especially for a playoff game.
