This is a possibility that I've feared since his rookie year. He just seems to have disdain for the NBA and American culture in general. I'll always remember his Slam Magazine interview when he was talking about (paraphrasing) liking Croatian Pop, Croatian House, Croatian Techno, etc... and Australian movies. Meanwhile, he didn't like how he teammates liked hip-hop and video games.
He knocked back massive money in Europe as an 18-19 year old to go to Utah when he clearly would have preferred to be in Europe than the US. I think people underestimate how big a deal it is for international guys to play in the nba, don't see him giving that up for a long time yet. I can however see him wanting to get into a system that values his presence more and plays team ball.

Europa....you've made posts like this a couple times in the past two-years.....and I read them and get excited thinking we've turned the corner....
And then he'll go through a stretch of 6/4 games and his averages will drop back to 12/8.5.
I'm hoping this time he can break out.....but I'm now a glass half-empty guy with Andrew until he puts together a couple months like this (i.e. 17/11).

In my conversations with him when Australia played New Zealand in the off season he made it clear that he sees himself being a NBA player for the next 10 years barring injury. he has struggled him players in the NBA who seem to care more about what they do after a game then during.
Europe won't happen unless he wants to sit out a year to find a better team.
Harris and Co could fix this issue and then Yi issue when it comes up by making the Bucks a better team and not by signing hacks (mason) and players who don't want to be here (bell)

The difference now though is that he will have had a four or five year taste of the NBA, and after two and a half years that taste has to be a little bitter.

This team will have major changes in the off-season most likely....so Bogut will have a new cast and new optimism is my guess.

He was a beast last January.....I just want him to make the leap here to a more consistent player at those higher averages....

Based on what I watched today - i can see no reason why he can't keep playing with that intensity.
Can't wait for the Bejing games.

You and me both. Our big man riches with Bogut, Anstey, Maric, Ogilvy, Neville, Jawai, Neilsen, etc are something we have never had. And while Mills is young, he Newley and Bruce will be fun to watch along with hopefully Ingles.
We are probably too young to do damage late in the tournament, but god its going to be fun to watch.
