Trade for Miamis lottery?

Post#1 » by manun » Sun Jan 13, 2008 11:33 am

Miami trades: Smush Parker, Blount, J.will + first round pick 2007 (it gotta be a top 3 pick for them to trade it)

Bucks trades: Mo williams, Bobby Simmons, C.V

Miami gets a future PG that can thrive with Wade and a future PF that will grow with wade and Mo.
Bucks get a first round pick they can use. I know Miami might not do this but i think its fair. Cause u never know what u get of lottery picks.

Ron ron on how commited he is to the team.

The Heat's pick has been traded to Minnesota under lottery protection. That means they are not allowed to trade the pick until it is 100% certain it will be a lottery pick.

And we're living in 2008 btw ;)

Why would you want to get any younger? With Mo, CV, Bogut, and Yi, we are a very very young team. Why would you want to bring another 19 or 20 year old in here? We can win in the next 2 or 3 years and Mo is a great player. None of the players in the lottery will be as good as Mo is right now in their first or maybe even second year.

I think our youth is great, and I really don't see a reason to get any younger. We need proven players who have played the game before and can help the younger guys improve. Getting lottery picks every year and just doing it over and over again doesn't get any team anywere. Look at the Atlanta Hawks.
