OT- Sarah Connor Chronicles

Post#1 » by Nowak008 » Mon Jan 14, 2008 2:08 am

I thought it was alright. Didn't really care for Sarah Connor herself. I liked the new terminator although I am kinda biased because I am a fan of Serenity. I am kinda curious on where the plot is going to go. What did you guys think?

I watched 5 minutes of it and switched it to amazing race on CBS (which I never watch).

I watched a little bit of it. Didn't really think it was anything special. However I can't wait to see the new Terminator movie coming out. Rumors have it, Christian Bale will be playing John Connor. Good choice there. Not only did he resurrect the Batman series, but he was awesome in 3:10 to Yuma, and good in American Psycho.

yeah i'm pretty pumped for the new terminator as well. Bale is one of my favorite actors, and i don't think he's been in a bad movie yet. The Prestige was an AWESOME movie and Equilibrium is a little known movie but very good none the less.

I watched it and I thought it was pretty good. Could end up being really good or really stupid. I guess we wait and see. Did The Wire start back up tonight? I don't have HBO so I download it but I love that show. Lost is coming back soon too. Looks like I will start watching way too much TV again soon.

Yeah I never miss the Amazing Race. And then I went to the NFL Network for all the playoff talk I want :)

From what I heard Bale would have a bit part in the upcoming one. Another guy would be the star.

The movie after that would feature Bale as Connor in a starring role.

It was pretty good, though at the same time I was slightly disappointed.

BTW I can't wait for the next Terminator either.

The terminator punching through that vault door was pretty intense.

Not bad. It has potential. We'll see what happens tomorrow night (some of us at least).

Just a weird question, cause I was doing some paperwork and was not following along..

The show came on after the football game, and since I was never a terminator kind of guy, the show doesn't appeal to me, so I wasn't really paying attention... However, was I mistaken in the very beginning, where the kid was dreaming about having sex with his mom ??? :-?

I thought it was pretty bad. Bad acting, cliche writing, and a premise that can only go so far.

But, then again, it's on the same network that keeps Prison Break alive, so I guess anything's possible.

I thought the gun they had to wait to turn red before they could shoot was incredibly contrived and cheezy, but we faithful were more than amply rewarded moments later when Summer Glau and Lena Headey materialized au naturel (!!!) - TV just does not get any better than that.

That's what I was going to say. My wife asked me to turn it off after 5 minutes (she HATED the actress they choose for Sarah) and I didn't disagree.

Oh, and another exciting, realistic season of Prision Break starts tonight. Can't wait!

It would have been better if it was on HBO. The whole time I was thinking damnit, this scene is to sell how hot the girls are and unfortunately it was on public TV so it had to be kept clean.

Point very well taken. Plus, on HBO they could have gone back in time and enlisted Al Swearengen to help them kick some #$%@!#ing robot #$^%$.

my 9 year old was loving it, I thought It was O.K., the acting was over the top, but I was overall pleased. I will tune in tonight because my son likes it.
