WRONG!
The slagging of Bogut on this board recently by Simulack and even more so TRWI7 or whatever his name is was merciless.
Things such as 'zero offense', 'offensive black hole ' and No post moves whatsoever' were the theme.
More longer term the systematic slagging of Bogut and their doubt in Bogut's ability to command a double team or score efficiently at a higher rate in the post have been slapped around by Epi and Classicjack.
Well guess what? it seems Bogut must have found a genie bottlew and wished for post offense cuz he has been bringing it to all comers for over 8 games straight now.
Just say it, it will feel good, it will be cleansing.....
I WAS WRRRRROOOONNNNNNGGGGGG
Please enter confessions below.

Wrong about what? Because a couple of recent games have been allstar quality, thus the criticisms of AB's earlier performance must be wrong. Haven't taken logic in school yet, have you?
Bogut has given all star performances in about 41% of his games from last season to date. Not every game, as you seem to believe, nor even the majority of games. He has in the past been poor in the low post, but in the last several games appears to have improved. That doesn't negate one word said about his past games.

I have been a Bogut supporter right from the start and have never doubted his abilities once. So I myself am in your situation as well lol.
But you just watch, some other posters will come here and will not say I was wrong. They will make up some lame excuse like "He has only had a few good games this year" or something along those lines. So do not expect anybody really to say I was wrong.

Does being a Bogut supporter mean the surrender of reason? The present does not erase the past and the criticism were about the past. Is that really difficult to understand?
Since in the past he has had allstar caliber games like the present several, let's wait and see if he can now do it more constantly, before chest beating.

I don't think "I told you so"'s are a good idea. He's having a good run but could just as easily slump again and thus all the criticism will restart. No matter how he turns out, some people will be satisfied and some won't, but I can't imagine anyone admitting to being wrong because of a few games.

He's played great on offense the past two games. Do it for the rest of the season and then I'll say something.

I knew Bogut would figure it out.
Just got to work out how to get rid of the stupid players off the Bucks and to trade for Kidd.
And how to get Yi back into the swing of things.
Otherwise.

Criticisms of past or current performances that are poor are warranted and understandable. But those who take a poor performance as evidence that Bogut sucks, is a bust, and will never amount to anything are (quite consistently now) being shown to be foolish and wrong...

Haha I told you, even before they posted I predicted correctly.
People using the excuse "He has only played well for a few games" is just ridiculous.
Bogut has been consistent all year, now he is finally getting the ball in his hands he is playing well. But meh, no matter what Bogut turns out to be people on here will still have complaints, so who cares!

Please. He's been a consistent 12/8.5 guy until these past few games. Forgive us for being a little skeptical as to whether or not he can keep it up. BTW, I'd love to eat crow on this as I'm sure Simulack would but I need to see this for the rest of the year.

ACtually Europa posted much different figures over the past eight games in another thread.

Yeah I'm looking now 18/9.9 on 62.5% shooting. If he keeps it up I'll have no problems.

I'm not skeptical about him at all. I just think threads like this are a jinx waiting to happen.

Let's not get carried away here. He's played great recently, but he's got to put together more games like this. We also need to know how he'll react to the (inevitable) bad game. Will he go into his shell, or will he be able to put it behind him?
We've seen good runs from Bogut before. But he's got to start turning them into extended runs with minimal slumps.
But this is promising, no doubt.

This is comical, what a scholar on the fundamentals of basketball you are Epi.
He has suddenly IMPROVED (over night it seems)
I will hazard to guess that perhaps the skills existed beforehand and didnt just magically appear.
In the past you have indicated through your superior analysis that Bogut was just not that skilled offensively in the post, yet now you admit he has suddenly become good in this area... your cred is shot.

I think there be more weight to the importance of Bogut, if his recent excellent performance results in wins. However saying this I am not surprise by Bogut's improvements and just damn happy he is getting these numbers.
However the last 3 games have been against top calibre teams and thats commendable.
I think the main reason for Bogut's increased in productivity is due to his "new" acquired leadership, I said this before it is important that this team is centred on Bogut, the offense should run through him. Larry K should pattern the plays of San Antonio instead of Phoenix.

I would say that the team and coaching staff need to ensure that Bogut continues to be involved in the offense as he has been (and perhaps they could begin to involve him in the 4th). In the past when Bogut has gone into his shell I believe it's been at least partially because the moment he has had a bad game after one of his 'runs' the coaching staff have completely reverted to our jumpshooting guards receiving the majority of the offense.
Here's the key - next time has a 8/6 game, and he will because everyone has a bad game, the coach needs to tell him he's going to be the focus of the offense the next game again, and go straight back to him as if he never missed a beat. If he has another average game after that, same again you just go straight back to him, and so on.
Bogut has the ability to be a star in this league of that I have absolutely no doubt, but he can at times be fragile mentally and really thrives on confidence. It's time for the bucks as an organisation to really show complete faith in their #1 pick for the first time, they will be much better for it if they do.
If this month has shown anything it is that Bogut is CAPABLE of being an allstar without any problems, and while the onus is on him to continue to improve, a large amount of responsibility has to be on the coaching staff as well.

The only changes that I have seen.
- The coaching staff is more dedicated to keeping him involved in the offense and they do not look away from him if he has a bad attempt or 2.
- Bogut is more decisive with his touches and more aggressive in his offense.
- Bogut, perhaps is demanding the ball a bit more or at the very least appears to be more confident and wants the ball more often.
I think the 1st point being the most critical.

His last five games he's at 19.2/10.4/3.2.......
But amazingly it has only pulled his season averages up to 13.0/8.9/2.3
Let's hope Bogut's not "Jumping the Shark" here.......he did average 21/17 for a three game stretch last January......
I have no problem though with feeding him the ball all game long and sending one of our chucking guards packing in a trade......
