Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Milwaukee and Portland being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Milwaukee and Portland had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Mo/Webster/Outlaw/Yi/Bogut - I lIke that, nice solid young starting 5, Webster has a ton of upside and we should get a player like that before he blooms, ala McGrady... Outlaw is a athletic 3 that doenst need the ball and is a great defender. Getting those 2 Guys is worth taking on Miles and Raef

Jack/Roy/Redd/CV/Aldrige - Nice also, get Gadz to help also until Odin comes back

Another terrible trade involving Redd. That trade makes Portland a Championship contender and makes us even more of a pretender.

Outlaw is horribly overrated. LaFrentz and Miles are just horrible.

No way do we do this, they are playing well and they are playing well and still have Oden next year which means Aldrige will move to PF next year so they won't want CV as another PF on their roster

I think you may have to add Yi to make it a bit more fair.

I made this same trade a week ago except I did not include Miles, and nobody was for it not even Blazer fan or Buck fans.

I really don't think Portland is making a trade....especially not for someone like redd. Pritchard has put together that team, is quite happy with it, and will simply wait until Oden comes back next year (they were joking around on PTI that he could come back for playoffs). I don't think they will make any major moves until then unless something great comes around, and I don't think Michael Redd is great. It would have to be a younger player with more upside for them to consider it.

You can make the argument that they need a role player to put them over the top if they want to eventually contend. I think they want to bring in this "class" of players, develop them, get them experience, and maybe eventually surround them with a couple good veteran role players in the coming years.
