Bogut Has Improved, But Still Needs Help...

Post#1 » by MilBucksBackOnTop06 » Sat Jan 19, 2008 9:44 am

Andrew Bogut has showed flashes the last few games if not the last few weeks.

Now all the crooners who chanted for us to draft him are coming out of the woodwork and screaming his praises again...

And that is fine and good. I like the young man's game now. He has made some strides, BUT LETS NOT GET IT TWISTED HERE...

He has not 'Arrived.' Opponents make adjustments! He still has not got a lot of attention paid to him yet, but he will. And when he does then what or who will step up.

Many of you drink the kool-aid and will throw me a name like Yi. Yi is not ready! So save it. Yi can't even hold the ball strongly enough where it is not knocked out of his hands yet!

Too weak, too finesse, and too deliberate to help a team that needs to win and get in the playoffs...Now!

If the Bucks do not watch out, both the Brewers and Packers will pass them by on the Wisconsin sports scene if they have not already.

I am in a honeymoon with both the Packers and Brewers, and am about to get separate from the Bucks' as will many of nothing is done soon.

Marquette and UWM if not the Badgers will hold me over plus the Blazers on League Pass until Spring training arrives...if they don't get going here.

Bogut must continue to be aggressive and develop a go to move and keep that ball in the air and use both hands on either side of the lane
to continue his low post prowess.

But I am one to say he would be a flat out star if we can just get him a scoring slasher on one side (Marvin/Pietrius) and a true banger who also demands attention on the other side who can take the load off of him when we get late in the season...

That will be a key...Here is to the Bucks' making the neccesary moves to get it done to continue on the winning track... :D

Senator...allow Harris  to do his job! :banghead:

So many tangents. So much inner turmoil. A festival of passion. All encapsulated in a few brief pars. Love your work :)

Oh and another thing...that I gather from the type of player that Bogut is.
He relies on everyone else around him complimenting him to be effective in order to help the team he is on to win!

When teams come and double him which they will shortly do, you will then see the jump shots return and we will continue to lose because he
needs a scoring option around him on the frontline!

A slasher to convert his passes, and a guy alongside him to be a tag team partner on the low post!

Like I told you if you put Bogut in Atlanta right now and you would have Portland East! Those teams have what he needs to be a Star. We don't!

That is why I advocated getting a slasher scoring wing and a banger like the guy in NY alongside him. We could be Portland East...but none of you have sense enough to see that.

I see it plain as day. And do did Larry Harris who evidently had called the
Pricthard in Portland about Randolph and it was turned down by Kohl.

The changes Bogut needs to make in his game, are minor somewhat. But the changes that really need to made to positively help his game is what is done around him...

The trade deadline could bring us some answers with a little reshuffling if Harris is allowed to do that.

If he was allowed to bring in a guy like Randolph and it does not work, WHAT HAS HE REALLY LOST? He is losing now...!

If others would get out of his way and ok'd that deal I guarantee you we would be better off. So will Bogut.

Great insight MBBOT, Kohl better hurry up or the Packers might start stealing some attention from the Bucks and god forbid, pass up the Bucks in popularity in Wisconsin.

You've posted some real classics MBBOT, but this here is the stuff of legends

BUT LETS NOT GET IT TWISTED HERE

No let's not do that :wavefinger:

I see it plain as day.

I imagine it would look similar to Cartman's tea parties with Clyde Frog and Polly Pissypants.
