There was a great guest on Dennis Krause' Show On Time Warner Sports that I found very intriguing in light of the celebration of the Bucks' 40th anniversary...

Outstanding guest. I caught the last 3 minutes of it suffering from the Packers withdrawls here...

Does anyone here remember him or can tell us anything about him. I have to catch the show in it's entirely...

Seems like a very jovial gentlemen who wants to be remembered for bringing the Bucks' back to Milwaukee...

Wow come to think of it, he helped bring the Bucks back to Milwaukee a year before Bud Selig help bring baseball back to Milwaukee huh? 1968 and 1969?

The late 60's were very kind and turblulent in many other ways I guess.
But, marv Fishman...and of you more 'seasoned' fans remember him?

I could go find out for myself, but I rely on many of you for a great deal of things like this.

I will come back to share my thoughts on what Marv said on the show later on...

I just thought this would be a nice reflective type thread to start in lieu of the Packers coming up short today at Lambeau Field...

sure there isn't that much production value, but Krause has solid insight and good forum discussions.

I knew M. L. Fishman (Marv) very well. He and Wesley Pavalon fought hard to bring the Bucks to Milwaukee. Pavalon headed Career Academy at the time--the purchase price for the team was $3,000,000. Pavalon made all of his money on Career Academy stock which later tanked. Marv was always a real estate guy. You can imagine their glee when, in their second year, they won the rights to Lew Alcindor in the draft. Lew wanted out of Milwaukee from day 1 but, along with the Big O and Bobby Dandridge brought a world championship to Milwaukee.

DannoMac never got back to me. Plus, I need a bigger challenge then taking them over.

Well, you could murder them if you'd like. All while making a pineapple upside-down cake
