I'll give them another chance. I love how people would complain to Bill Johnson about the weak signal and he would get all pissed off and yell " we stream on the internet", what a jackass. Homer, Drew and Needles are the only talent over there IMO.

I guess it dpends on your taste, I prefer 1510 AM and I am very happy with the switch...I do enjoy Sparky's baseball and basketball shows, but other then that I can't stand the morning pair on 1250 and Cliff Saunders is the worst.

I don't like the morning show on 1250am either.....if WAUK moves to 540 they should get a good local morning show going to give those other guys a run for their money.

Cliff makes that show intolerable to listen to. Ellerson isn't anything great either, but Cliff makes my ears bleed. I can't fathom how a station manager could hire him, i'd almost rather listen to some stammering drunk on a bar stool in Cudahy.

I stopped listening to 1510 when 1250 started but if they get a stronger signal I may flip over there from time to time. I know they do or did broadcast the Dan Patrick show which is easily the worst sports talk show on the radio.

The D-List is pretty good.. I like Sparky but usually end up listening to the D-list depending on the topic. The 1250 Doug Russell show sucks... Gary and Cliff are funny some times.. they are ok.
The change to 540 sounds good instead of having two damn ones

I like the D-List, and yes, Bill Johnson just sounds like a tool. He becomes so confused and flustered when anyone disagree's with him. But that's the impression I get. I've never met the guy so maybe he's a nice guy? I love Drew Olsen, and Needles. I actually got to play golf with Needles when I was in college, he's a blast, not to mention hilarious!

As far as 1250, as everyone pointed out, Cliff at times makes me start going Mike Tyson on my steering wheel. I like Gary, especially with football. Why Cliff ever argues with him about football is beyond me. But I feel a lot of that show is set up that way to get more callers. I honestly feel Cliff just plays devils advocate a lot to get more callers, or he is just that stupid.

I like Sparky's mid day madness, and really like his passion for the Bucks, and all Wisconsin sports for that matter.

Both stations are run by amateurs but I'd rather have two sports radio stations in the area than none.

Sparky and Homer are the only guys crackin at their respective stations. WSSP should be all Sparky, all the time.

Mike Clemens and Tim Allen also do a really good job.

If there is still any doubt, there shouldn't be. The move to 540 will be happening. I work for the Good Karma station in So. Wisconsin and got an email today notifying me of the change. I think this is the first time I've ever been able to utilize some inside info., even though it isn't much anymore.
