Non-basketball thoughts-Pacers @ Bucks

Post#1 » by energee » Fri Jan 25, 2008 5:00 am

80's night, so energee, hoop troop, the MCs, and Bucks employees dressed up in 80's style. A third of the fans did too, unintentionally

Played 80s music throughout.

Lead singer of Survivor was the halftime show and played Eye of the Tiger and another song.

Bango wasn't around much but did dress up as and played Pacman with a staged Pacers fan who was a "ghost" (would have been better to play Pacman Jones and start a brawl)

No TV, so the hard working Garry Howard and Gery Woelful were in Jim & John's seats a lot of the game.

Anything else?

I would estimate the crowd at around 12,000.

Pretty dead crowd as usual.

No Herb from what I could see.

The Brewers racing sausages were there.

During the 3rd at about 4:56, a fan threw a cup of soda and it hit the Bucks bench. One of the As. Coaches was nailed. Also, three sets to my right this dummy dove for a tshirt and went head first into the rail. It was prob the best thing I have ever seen at the BC.

Sadly, it looks like a lot of Wisconsinites have moved into the 90s. You can't stop progress.
Luckily, for the revenue department of the government, speed doesn't kill.

Just wait until we get to 2050. We'll be flying into the 21st century.

That's because it wasn't the real Bango last night. The normal Bango, who does a great job in my opinion, had the night off.
