Playoff watch thread.

Post#1 » by Nowak008 » Sun Jan 27, 2008 12:38 am

Even though this is a bad team we are amazingly only a 1 1/2 out of 8th in the crappy eastern Conference because Indiana lost to Miami today. I would rather deal Redd and rebuild, but if they are going to keep this thing together I want to make the playoffs. 38 or 39 wins might be good enough to make it.

Lets go Bucks!

You think that this 17-27 team is going to go (at least) 21-17 over their last 38 games, to finish with 38 wins? Really?

I don't.

I'd rather not make the playoffs. There needs to be zero doubt that changes need to be made, and if we snuck in I can see Kohl rationalizing to himself that everything is fine. There needs to be changes made, and I'm no question willing to sit through a bad lottery season to have that happen.

Im still hoping we make the playoffs. I honestly dont care much about where we pick in the draft because I think that we should just trade our pick either way. We are plenty young enough and if we can get rid of one of our bad contracts and get some veteran help in here than im all for it.

I'll always take playoffs over not playoffs, and the fact that the Bucks are only 1.5 games out is sickening.

I want what's going to be best for this team in 3 to 4 years. That is when our window will open because Boston and Detroit will be over the hill and the likes of Duncan and Nash will be well past their primes. So at this stage give me high lottery picks instead of 38 wins, an 8th seed and a first round sweep.

oh yea?
make the play off and then lose 4-0 to Celtic everygame like 100-20?
if that's the case then do you want to go to playoff?

I said that about a hundred times, but here is the 101th: we are a bad team, ok, but we have 20 of the last 32 at home, where we are 12-7. With a little improvement we can go 21-17 in the last 38 to me, also because we have to play 27 of the final 38 games against eastern conference teams and because we would have be at about .500, closing out 4 or 5 close games we lost stupidly.

I would take the playoffs and the 14th or 15th pick than barely not make it and get the 10th or 11th pick.
