TI NJ: No Kidd/VC temporary fix

Here's my trade idea with NJ that isn't a band-aid fix that the Kidd and Carter trades I have seen are. Don't get me wrong Kidd is great, but he's not the same player he was and how much longer does he play at this level? Carter is on the back 9 while Redd is still on his front 9 so why swap these players? I want a deal that addresses needs while sets the roster for the future, so here goes my first ever proposed trade (note: it is trade checker approved):
Milwaukee sends:
Mike Redd
Charlie V
NJ sends:
Richard Jefferson
Jason Collins
Why for Milwaukee:
It fills our weakest position SF with a guy that doesn't settle for jumpers and gets to the rim. He's a guy used to being a 3rd option and will fill in nicely with the Mo-Yi-Bogut group that seems to work well together. Collins is a banger that can add to the group of bangers off the bench. CV is gone after next year anyway so he needs to be moved. Mase can move to the SG and can focus just on playing defense and slashing to the hoop with Bell and Ivey getting minutes at the guard. We stay young enough but are more balanced IMO. If things work well in the lottery we take one of the stud guards (Rose, Bayless, Mayo) and either move Mo to the off guard or move him at that point for a SG.
Why for NJ:
Redd had a good raport with Kidd and could be ultra effective with him as the PG. VC can easily play the 3 and give them a very dangerous scoring group. CV moves back home (or near home) and gives them the scoring PF they have lacked and another offensive threat for Kidd to dish too. Given the ages of Kidd and VC, they can still try to win now in a weak eastern conference.
