MILWAUKEE (TICKER) -- Milwaukee Bucks guard Michael Redd will miss Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards with a left knee strain.

Redd also missed four games earlier this month - including a game against the Wizards - with a thigh bruise, and the Bucks went 3-1 in his absence.

Redd is averaging 23.0 points on 44 percent shooting this season.

What a joke.

I hope he is traded soon.

Trade forthcoming.

It was early January last year that Redd had exactly the same injury - patella tendon strain in his left knee - on a similar meaningless dunk.

He missed 20 games from January 8 - February 14 and the Bucks went 3-17 in that time.

CV is also out today and it's a strange co-incidence that he also went out around the same time as Redd last year.

So, what are we getting for Redd and CV?

I don't think trading either would put us in tank mode. It actually might help us win more games.

Kirilenko/Brewer or something to that tune  ... Jazz would probably not do it at this point but a man can dream.

They aren't mutually exclusive. We could easily make a Redd trade that makes us far worse in the short term.

My favorites:

Granger/Murphy/Daniels

Odom/Ariza/Kwame (with us dumping gadz or simmons)

Mcgrady/Landry

I offense is exceptional minus Redd.

I'm not sure what crazy trade brings us Granger, Murphy, and Daniels. I think that might be a bit much for them to give us for Redd and CV.

A bunch of the Pacers fans like it. Murphy is an albatross contract for them, and Redd would be a real good compliment to O'neal.

Nobody wants Kwame. But there might be a lot of interest in his expiring contract.

He'd be a major short term upgrade at backup center for us too. Getting out of the limelight might be real good for him actually, especially since we'd only want him to D up and rebound.

Let's see, solid first half w/o Redd. Harris and Kohl need to see the light and trade his pussy ass....Build the team around Mo, Yi, and Drew, and draft our new sg next year in Eric Gordon
