Bucks record in January

Post#1 » by Debit One » Mon Jan 28, 2008 1:44 am

With Mo out of the lineup = 1 win, 1 loss

With Redd out of the lineup = 4 wins, 2 losses

With both Mo and Redd in the lineup = 2 wins, 5 losses

Discuss.

We're 4-1 without Redd, 5-1 with Redd's butt planted on the bench at the end of the game.

Trade one of them. Just don't limit yourself into thinking that you only have to trade Redd. Expand your options so you can expand the potential to improve your team.

I'd trade them both if the right players were involved, but at the moment I'd be more inclined to trade Redd.

Bingo.

Holding on to Redd makes no sense. We're not winning games with him, and he's not helping to develop our young guys.

We'd be 15-0 in January if we would've traded Redd for John Salmon's or Hedo Turkoglu.

This year we're only missing 1 other starter.

I think a big reason why the Bucks are playing better this season without Redd than last season is because Bogut is a MUCH better player right now. His improvement has been the most significant development of the entire season in my opinion, much less this month.

Definitely. Outside of the fact I think Mo fits better on the team, his contract for the next 2 seasons is very reasonable.

The only way Mo goes is if Bobby or Gadz goes with him, and we still have realistic options at PG moving forward.

Another great comparison would be comparing the winning percentages of the teams we played without Redd compared to the teams we lplayed with Redd.

I would trade both if the right deals came along as well.....Mo's lack of poise and decision making at the end of regulation was unreal....you do not have to play 100mph all the damn time.

You just can't get yourself to believe that this team is in fact better without Redd.

You just had to include the "don't limit yourself to just trading Redd!!!", totally disregarding that we are 4-1 without Redd (5-1 without him in the 4th), while Mo is still in the starting lineup.

Get over Redd.

True, but say what you want about Mo, he's clutch. Whether or not he's our starting PG or not, I would rather have Mo on the court when it matters than Michael.

The reason I say trade Redd is because the team seems to play better without him, but they are also missing the best volume scorer by far... if you replace that with a guy who contributes efficiently offensively and defensively without needing the ball every time down the court, the team would be alot more successful instantly. I really like Josh Childress... I wouldn't do Redd for Childress straight up because Redd's worth alot more, but I think he provides alot of what the team is lacking.

Mo was pretty damn horrible tonight. He hit a couple of big shots in OT but his play tonight was terrible. He did nothing tonight to make a case for saying he absolutely needs to stay.

Frankly, the only player doing that right now is Bogut.

You just can't get yourself to believe that this team is in fact better without Redd.

Do you even bother to read what is actually written? Seriously, I wonder because you continue to respond to things I've never said. I have never disregarded the record without Redd. You have again made up a statement and attributed it to me that I have never said. I keep hoping maybe you'll stop doing that but you insist on repeating your error time after time after time after time ...

I have ZERO problems trading Michael Redd. I simply think it's foolish to just limit the team to only trading him. Mo has done nothing lately to prove he's untouchable. So if you can make a good trade involving Mo that will improve the team why wouldn't you make it?
