I'm not certain that I like this trade. I think that any trade needs to drop Mo or Redd. I think that adding another player that wants touches in Wilcox will only hurt the team chemistry even further. I like a trade that sends Mo for Watson and Wilcox... maybe with us unloading some cap garbage.

I can't see Seattle doing this, but I like Earl Watson.

I agree that Mo or Redd need to go.

They are trying to get younger. Villanueva gives them another future stud to go along with Durant and Green.
Yes Gadz sucks, but have you seen their Centers? Gadz could start for them, and I could see them running an up tempo style with him. Wilcox is up for a new contract, and I doubt they want to extend him.
So yeah, IMO Villanueva and the pick is worth Watson and Wilcox.

Yep. This trade gives us a PG, and a PF, so whoever we do trade out of Mo or Redd we can target a SF.

If he was a future "stud" we wouldn't be shopping him around.

How bout this trade? Maybe Toronto adds a first rounder.

I would prefer to get someone under the age of 27 for Redd. Plus, Rasho has absolutely no role on this team.

He is an expiring contract....That is his role. Redd is addition by subtraction at this point.

I think they would want more for Wilcox. His numbers are a bit disappointing this year and inconsistent, but they know that he is and can be a beast down low. CV can score and has potential but I think they'd rather have Wilcox. Add the fact that we are dumping our crap in Gaza for an equally bad contract in Watson(a much more productive player) and they hang up the phone. Oh, but I guess they could help their D-league team out with that 2nd round pick.
Honestly though I was proposing trades for Wilcox before the season...I didn't want him that badly but I can't recall exactly, there was a pretty good trade that we had proposed for him.

I think that if this is the best we can get that we pull the trigger on it. I love the prospect of dumping Gadzuric, and if they could throw in a first rounder... I like the kind of role players we would be bringing in.

That was my thinking. Toronto could use a 2 guard. They have an expiring contract (Nesterovic) and two great 3 pt. shooters that we can surround around Bogut. Plus if we get a pick it makes it a slam dunk for me.

Yes unloading Gadz would be a good thing. But if you really think CV is going to be a stud you don't get rid of him to dump a contract.

So you think that Seattle is going to take on Gadz contract, and give us Wilcox and Watson, for the privilege of receiving CV?
No way. I bet they wouldn't do CV for Wilcox straight up.

Agreed!
I must admit, I admire DH's stick-to-it-iveness! Eventually if anyone on the bucks gets traded, he can claim (and probably rightly so) that he had a thread on that exact trade.

I'm doing my best to trade Gadz...is that too much to ask!?!?!

Any trade that would move Yi to the bench is not going to happen. We are not going to make the playoffs this year so they will play through any growing pains Yi has this season to get him much needed experience.
