I don't think Utah makes it even if Almond is substituted for Brewer. Sloan would kill Charlie Villanueva for his lack of defense and Redd isn't much better in that regard.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

I have not watched much of Brewer personally but what i have heard is that he is in Sloan's doghouse for not playing D.

I wouldn't, personally.
The deal I want to try to make is with Houston. (If we trade Redd)
Redd + Bell + CV for Battier + James + Scola + Snyder + Brooks + 1st
RELEASE: Storey, Noel
Bogut - Voshkuhl - (Gadzuric)
Scola - Yi - Ruffin
Battier - Simmons - Mason
Mo - (Snyder)
James - Brooks - Ivey - (Sessions)
() Indicates inactive or in the D-league.
Gives you solid role players who have experience playing inside out basketball. It gives the team a enormous defensive boost and really makes us deeper. It also gives us a solid PF to play along side Bogut until Yi is developed and a bigger defensive minded PG.
We scoop up a draft pick and in this scenario I'd probably look to move Mo to the combo guard role off of the bench and try to draft a starting SG (Like an Eric Gordon) with our pick and then some more depth with Houston's.
We develop Aaron Brooks to be the future PG for the team and we could even use Houston's pick to try and relieve ourself of Gadzuric or Simmons salary.

Yep, saw a quote from Sloan saying he has been benching Brewer lately in 4th quarters because of lack of defensive intensity.
Too lazy to find it though.

Regarding Brewer's benching, coach Jerry Sloan said, "I don't know if I made the right choice or not...Ronnie has got to work a lot harder defensively. With his athletic ability, he's got get up and guard guys. He can't back off of them and give them open jumpers." It's too early to tell if this arrangement will persist, but it's not a good sign that Kyle Korver's defense is earning him more minutes. Hopefully this is the wakeup call Brewer needed.
This was on a fantasy basketball site that scooped the quote from a Utah paper I believe.
I'd make the trade in a second, but I'm not buying that a Mo/Brewer backcourt is good enough defensively even then.

Had they not gotten Kyle Korver they probably would of bit. Had the Bucks kept Skinner they would've more than likely bit if sent with Redd.
they needed a 3pt threat they got one for peanuts. They need a legit defensive bigman (skinner) to help Okur. No one in the Bucks fits that bill. the Okur to Jarrod Collins is massive drop in talent

I would do this trade, but Utah wouldn't and China would be pissed of Yi sat the bench. AK47 could come off the bench and play significant time at the 3/4.
None of this matters because Utah already has Kyle Korver, why would they trade for Redd?
A better trade would trying to get AK47 for CV, Simmons, and a 1st.
Mo/Ivey
Redd/Bell
AK47/Mason
Yi/Ruffin
Bogut/Voskul/Gadz

Does the "They already have Korver, why get Redd" way of thinking really make sense? I mean I am as sick of Redd as the next guy but Redd is about 100 times the player Korver is. Korver is a great spot up shooter and that's about it. Redd can score in any fashion imaginable. I mean seriously, Redd is one of the best scorers in the leauge. he just isn't making the Bucks a better team because of it.
