and we make the playoff
why wouldn't he stay?
i think if the trade is done, and we make the playoff, he stays
and nobody is traded, and we make the playoff, should he be gone? that's something to discuss
and either way if we do not make the playoff, he should be gone

if i were him i will make the trade and hope for the best
