Do we miss Mason more then we think?

He is supposed to be coming back soon, and I wanted to bring up this question. Mason isn't all that good, but he is better then Bobby. Mason is one of the few defenders on this team, and shoots 6% better then Bobby this year. Not only that, he is a team captain. There has been problems with team chemestry and with Mason coming back he could be the guy who bridges the gap between everyone.

Do we miss Mason more then we think?

or

He is terrible, and won't help much.

Discuss.

We have a .400% with him and a .380% without him. I think we just suck as a whole and Dez doesn't make any difference.

He's the key to the ship man!

His 8 pts 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists is critical for this team!

Get real... buck just don't have the chemistry or talent to become a major player in the east.

Maybe if the same group is starting 4 years from now and Bucks get some decent backups...

I think we miss him a ton.......

Bell and Ivey are getting abused at SF at times by these bigger guys that Dez does a better job handling......Bobby is good at positional D, but Dez is better at help D.

I think if we had Dez we would have won 2 more games here the last six-weeks.....seems small, but that's a playoff spot.

I agree we do suck, but we played our best ball of the season with him healthy. *Channeling Midranger* if we counted the game where Mason got hurt in the games with out him its about 41% compared to about 36%.

Mason won't make us win 10 games in a row, but he could make us better.

Absolutely miss him a little in my opinion.

Just would be a nice change of pace from Simmons.

We definitely miss him

Particularly with Redd out. We currently have BOTH our starting wings out. That sucks. Mason brings what Storey brought in the Washington game most every night. Plus, he's a solid chemistry guy and leader.

I think it'd have been interesting to see how we would have done without Redd, had Mason been healthy.

Sad that it is true that this team misses one of the worst starters, if not the worst, in the NBA. Fine team construction.

Yeah, last week I caught the Bobcats on and found myself missing Gerald Wallace more than I thought.

A more interesting question is how does Dez get minutes when he returns? Bobby has been playing better lately and he is a far superior shooter, passer, and rebounder with a much better feel for the game. Ivey has been Mason with a handle and a respectable jumper, while Bell, Mo, and Redd are all far superior shooters and scorers.

The Bucks have to package one of those guards and CV for another reliable big man if you ask me.

Bobby will help him out with the 2 fouls in 2 minutes. Plus if Larry K was actually smart he'd keep Ruffin and Voskual on the damn bench.

That makes enough minutes for CV and Mason.

He won't do much for the chemistry problems...he's been around the team almost as much since he's been hurt as he was before the injury.

When you're forced to give Awvee Storey significant minutes, you know we're missing Mason...

He's our best off-ball cutter, so I think he'll be very effective in our more 'Bogut-centric' offense. Plus, we could really use another decent perimeter defender...

Perhaps the question to Mr Kohl and co is: Do we miss Marion more than we think?

Yes we miss Mason. I think i've been the only mason supporter this year. I think he's been very good.

Yes we miss Redd. Is there any doubt?
