Charlie V. for Ike Diogu...

Pretty simple really.... Would Milwaukee fans do it ?
Ike was playing really well out of the gate ( 14 and 7) for the Pacers, until JO and Murphy came back. Now he is struggling to find a role with the Pacers, even though JO is out.

Charlie doesn't feel like playing very often. But he can play.
Ike can't play. Period. One 30+ point game in summer league and one 27 point game as a rookie. That's been it though.
You could run a reel of his career highlights to the opening theme of "The Office". The theme would last longer.

Ike can play. He was key to the Pacers hot start at the beginning of this season before he went down with an injury. He hasn't been able to work his way back into Indy's frontcourt with Jermaine O'Neal, Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy getting all the time (they also use Dunleavy at the four from time to time) but he can play. Villanueva wouldn't get any playing time for the pacers either. Diogu is always a risk to go down with an injury though.

Actually, he can play. His career production is outstanding for his minutes. And it's not heartless chucking a la a Michael Redd, as he's also a career 50% shooter from the floor and 80% from the line.
Give him some time, and I think he'll pull it together, a la a David West.

I agree. I think Diogu would be worth a look as a backup PF. He was playing quite well for the Pacers early in the season like you mentioned. I'd definitely make this trade although I prefer Chad Ford's proposal with the Lakers.

I've seen him play a bit, he's a lot like CV but not quite. They are both scorers who are only average rebounders and poor defenders. Ike is more of an explosive post scorer, CV is best taking his man off the dribble. A lateral move and Ike would have less trade value so meh.

I'd do it in a heartbeat...

The Bucks are littered with undersized players and I am sick of that, this team needs some length and athleticism....so I'd pass.

I think CV has more value. Like others said, both are scorers but Charlie has proven more thus far.

I rate CV and Ike as similair prospects, but CV has shown more at this point, and I don't think adding an undersized power forward who doesn't block shots helps us very much.
I like Ike a lot, but we need someone like Shelden "Neanderthal Face" Williams who can split time between the 4 and 5 and play physical defense... basically if we trade Charlie V we need someone who is going to keep Voskuhl on the bench where he belongs...

I'd trade CV for Shelden Williams......although I'm not sure if Williams will ever "get it" either. The Landlord played outstanding the last 20 games of his rookie year, but wasn't able to carry it over to this season.
