Hey guys, not sure what the response will be, but any info would be great...
A few mates and I are getting towards the end of our medical degrees and next year we get to do a 6 week elective anywhere in the world, where we set out own curriculum. So being pretty big NBA fans, we've been hoping (dreaming really) of hooking up with some team's medical staff...
My question is are there doctors attached full time to NBA teams?? I know that certain doctors are team doctors or team surgeons (and if a player gets injured they'll see that surgeon/doctor... we've got a reply from the Bulls' orthopod so far), but are there any medical physicians at all of the home games for example?? Many australian teams only have physios etc... on game day... and a large part of the appeal of this placement would be getting access to NBA games etc.
And if the bucks/NBA franchises do have match day doctors... does anyone know contact details, emails etc. for them (or any other NBA team).
Cheers.
