Does anyone know how many years a player stays Poison Pilled, BYCed and such?
Like Mo for example signed his deal this year for 6 years. How many more of those years will Mo be BYC?

BYC= Base Year Contract (right?)
So only the first unless everything I ever thought I knew was a lie.

base year- 1st year of deal
there is no set time or date that a poison pill clause expires, unless it's written that way in the particular contract.

Damnit Adam, where is the "My sources" sig and etc... That was the funniest thing on this board, IMO.

I think you have confused poison pill with something else, although what you mention above really wouldn't apply to anything I can think of, not even a trade kicker, which is what I'm guessing you may be confusing poison pill with?
As for poison pill, it is not a clause written in a contract. It is an automatic status very similar to BYC. In fact, a player who is PPP one year will also end up being BYC the following year assuming that the extension would trigger a BYC year, which it would in all but the rarest of rare instances.
I think we did a pretty good job here explaining BYC and PPP

but if anyone has any additional questions still after reading that FAQ entry, let me know.

Not yet. I took 2 of the 3 exams, so I still have one remaining (March), and have to turn in my symphony. Hoping to be done by the middle of the summer.
