Yup the Bucks are giving away free upper tix for the Feb 13 game vs. the Hornets. Use code "Assist" when ordering. They have lowered the "convenience" fee to just $.75 per ticket.

This is exactly why we don't get more season ticket owners. Why would anyone waste their money on season tickets when they know in a couple of months the same tickets they payed full price for will be dirt cheap?

Yup, even these "free" tix are only $4.50 and you'll be able to move down to the lower bowl.

Yes, this is definitely one of my pet peeves. I am fairly certain I engaged in quite a diatribe on this the last time they did this.

Last time was worse though. The ticketmaster fees were only referred to in tiny print on the bottom that you only went too if you followed the asterisk. This time they mention that in the main paragraph under the picture.
"Get two (2) complimentary upper level tickets (*reduced TM fee applies)."

Better at least. The really BIG text at the top that draws your attention in just says FREE TICKETS FEB. 13 (with FREE in red and the rest in white)

Again, if I call someone to go to a Bucks game, I tell them I have free tickets and ask them if they want to go with me, and then after they decide to go, I turn around and tell them they will owe me some money for those tickets (even a small amount) isn't that a pretty lame thing to do on my part?

The point of these promos is to try and get fans in the seats that otherwise wouldn't be going to these games. The Bucks need to stop dicking around with those people if they really want them to go. Either make them totally free, or if they must charge some ticket master fees, make it an even dollar amount and advertise them at THAT price (and say TM fees INCLUDED in price). I for sure am only planning on attending Friday and Satruday night home games for the rest of the season unless someone else has tickets or if there is a type of deal like this.

This just reminds me of all those "As Seen On TV" stuff that always adds on some piece of crap "Bonus" offer that you can get for "Free" if you buy the main product. "And as a special bonus, we'll send you this deluxe grooming kit, FREE. You just pay shipping and handling." And then you find out that shipping and handling will set you back $9.95 even though it clearly doesn't cost $9.95 to mail you that little wallet size case.

Fastbreak is a separate list. You can sign up at the Bucks site or by filling out a Midwest Airlines contest entry at the BC.

Free means free was one of the cardinal rules of Bill Veeck, the father of sports giveaways and always low budget former owner of the minor league Milwaukee Brewers and major league teams. IIRC it was a matter of customer satisfaction and good will towards the franchise.

Last year when they did this for the Raptors game it was completely free. (Well some people claimed to have had TM fees then too, but i didnt so idno). But yea i agree GAD it is pretty stupid to throw in the inconvenience fees.

Those fees are insane. Even if u are ordering tickets that aren't free, ticketmaster charges a crap load of fees. I can see why sales are down for tickets.

There should be a box next to tab that says "Any Price" where you can type in a code.
