Works in the checker.
Milwaukee Gives:
Desmond Mason
Charlie Villanueva
Miami Gives:
Dorrell Wright
Ricky Davis
Starting Lineups:
MKE:
Mo/Bell
Redd/Davis
Simmons/Wright
Yi/Ruffin
Bogut/Gadz/Voskuhl
MIA:
J Will/Smush
Wade/Cook
Matrix/Desmond
Haslem/CV
Zo/Barron
Why: For Milwaukee it's a one year rental on Ricky Davis who's got an expiring contract and a solution at SF where Wright could fit in nicely as a compliment to the Mo/Yi/Bogut nucleus. For Miami, adding Marion means they can shed some of their depth at the 3, while gaining, in CV, front court depth that they currently lack.
Here's ESPN Insider's scouting report on Wright:

Here's ESPN Insider's scouting report on Wright:
Scouting report: Wright is a slender swingman with a build similar to Houston's Tracy McGrady. He's also been compared to T-Mac because of the elevation he gets on his high-arcing jumpers, but he doesn't shoot it with nearly as much range or accuracy. That could change at some point -- the dude's only 21 -- and will have to if he's going to be a long-term starter.
Wright has the size and vertical to be an excellent finisher around the basket, but he seems to make shots more difficult than needed and has to learn how to draw contact and get himself to the line. He's a good passer, though, ranking 15th in assist ratio among small forwards.
Defensively, Wright's athleticism partly makes up for the typical youthful growing pains he went through last season. He's great on the boards and he blocks shots, so he could be very good in a couple of years, but last year he was pretty ordinary.
