Bucks-Mavs Postgame Thread 2/06/08
Very entertaining game. The Bucks played a great team hard on the road but just didn't have enough to beat them.
Mo played a great game, carrying the Bucks for three quarters before running out of steam in the fourth. Also credit Avery Johnson with a great coaching decision to double team and/or pressure Mo to keep the ball way from him. Smart coaching there.
Bogut with a very nice game which was great to see after his dud last night. A double double and some big defensive plays. Villanueva also delivered again in his second game as the starter, shooting well, rebounding well and making some nice passes.

Nothing will not break me.

What are you talking about?!?!?! Michael would have nailed the door shut on the Mavs down the stretch. He always does.

Ew. And they didn't really light up the scoreboard either.

I only saw the last quarter (heard the rest on the radio), but I liked what I saw from CV tonight. Mo played great for the first 3 quarters, and Bogut was very good throughout the game. We just couldn't keep it going for all 48 minutes. Oh, and Charlie Bell needs to be banned from shooting. Or dribbling.
Actually, ban him from touching the ball period.

Is it just me or does Charlie Bell look really uncomfortable dribbling the ball?

Great game, really entertaining. The bucks played hard, we just lacked a solid handler when that pressure came late. Good performance though. Mo had just an outstanding first half but got really tired late. 1 of 8 in the fourth, ugh. Bogut outstanding as well, CV another really good performance, it is great to see our 4 spot not being a liability for a change. As weird as it is I think we really missed Bobby tonight, Mason was ok but had a couple of really poor shot options and we missed Bobby's passing and general team play.
Good performance though particularly being shorthanded, if we play like that in some upcoming home games we'll win more than we lose.

I missed most of the second half trying to dig out my car. Looks like Mo cooled off and Bogut + CV picked up the slack.
I (of course) tuned in just in time to see Bogut fail to control a rebound and have Brandon Bass dunk on his head. Then Mo turns it over with both he and Bogut appearing to be fouled on the play. Bleh.
CV should have been starting for the past 2 months.
