OT: The Nightmare's Over

Just got home from Mexico, flying through Milwaukee. Plane was supposed to leave at 12:45 yesterday, ended up leaving at 4 PM today (quick math, 27 hour delay). I'm sure those living in Milwaukee have some stories to tell about the weather as well, which I heard was historically bad.

So, Bucks still blow I see, what happened over the past nine days, haven't had internet access whatsoever.....

Pau Gasol got traded to the Lakers for Javaris Crittendon, Kwame Brown and 2 1st round pick (2008 and 2010).

Shaq got traded to Phoenix for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks.

Yi got hurt and has missed the past two games and CV has filled in with 16/12 against Memphis and 16/8 against Dallas.

We lost by 43 to the Sixers.

The Giants won the Super Bowl on a TD pass by Eli Manning to Plaxico Burress with 35 seconds left. Best Super Bowl ever. Tom Brady was hammered all game.

We won an overtime game against Washington, very exciting.

New Jersey snapped their 9 game losing streak against us.

Pitchers and catchers report in 9 days.

We just found out today that 154 of 162 Brewers games will be on some sort of TV including opening day on ESPN2. Also of those 8 games that are not on TV 7 of them are at home so you could only miss one game if you decided to go to every home game that isn't televised.

I can't think of anymore.

Didn't know that was physically possible.

Missed the second half of the Super Bowl. All that matters is that NE lost and little Billy had to take his medicine.

Can't wait for the Crew.

We didn't either. It was kind of funny yet pathetic listening to Jim and Jon trying to find the silver lining in that game.

Oh yeah the Badgers beat Iowa last night on the Big Ten Network and the announcers were insufferable homers for Iowa. I think you actually might have killed them if you would've been watching.

trwi7 - you forgot to mention Purdue fans have been working all week on a new cheer for this Saturday's game. it's called Boiler Up squared! it worked against Illinois. We use that cheer when we beat you twice in the same season!

Luke also missed the following exciting yet informative lectures at West Lafayette this past week:

Why Would Nanotechnology Work for Wood?

Nuclear Materials Science: Modeling and Simulated Experiments of Particle-surface Interactions in High-Density Plasmas

Environmental Risk of Genetically Modified Organisms

yup, it was an exciting week all right.

You almost had the cheer right. I fixed it for you.

I was actually hoping the Bucks would get doubled up in that Sixers game. At one point in the fourth quarter I think we were a 76 three pointer away from it.
