Miami wants to run and gun. We don't need Gadz. Would Miami filler (and one of their future 2nd rounders) work in exchange for Gadz?

Try altering your thread title, champ. Actually thought this team accomplished something for a second.

Please....do not ever state your trade idea threads as if they were a headline of a deal that went down.
Add "Rumor" or "Trade idea"
I saw that title and immediately got excited as others did.

There is no player on the Heat - or any other NBA team - who is worth less than Gadz, and would therefore require them to throw in a draft pick.

Mark Blount begs to differ.

Touchy...My apologizes. Is it possible that Gadz has negative value?

It's 100% true that Gadz has negative value.

Mark Blount had something along the lines of 22 and 5 today, a much better game than Gadz could put up in a starting role.

The last time DG had starting minutes, he put up 20/20.

Probably more realistic to package Mo with Gadz to the heat for some expiring contracts. Since Mo is BYC, more players would have to be invovled
Milwaukee Trade Breakdown
Incoming Players
Dorell Wright
Udonis Haslem
Mark Blount
Jason Williams
Miami trade breakdown:
Charlie Villanueva
Dan Gadzuric
Maurice Williams
6-1 PG from Alabama
Bobby Simmons
Revised lineups:
Bucks:
Jason Williams, Ivey
Redd, Bell
Dorrel Wright, Mason
Haslem, Yi
Bogut, Voskhul, Blount
Miami
Mo Williams
Dwayne Wade
Shawn Marion, Rickey Davis
CV
Gadzuric
Bucks do this to get some expiring contracts, and get a promising SF and a good PF who can hustle. Yi would headline our bench and be the primary offensive player. We would have to sign a player in the offseason to play PG.
Miami takes on some bad contracts (Blount/Gadz is a wash salary wise, but Gadzuric I think is the better player). Simmons is the real problem here, but acquiring Mo Williams and CV hopefully offsets this. This team will be built to run, and CV will benefit from Wade's play. If you don't think Miami would do this, maybe throw in Charlie Bell and contract fillers instead of Simmons

My question is... if Gadz has negative value (which I agree 100% with... the silence of his dutch fans in recent months is a deafening confirmation of this) and he only ever gets off the bench with multiple injuries... or if we're showcasing him before trade deadline... Why don't we just buy him out??
It'd be good for the Bucks - Gadz off the books, we're going to have to pay him one way or another, might as well get the cap space... plus maybe we get a discount on the buyout total
Good for Gadz - Gets his money, is no longer stuck at the end of the Bench, we could take some money out of total buyout, but give a clause saying Salary earned playing in Europe (where he has an EU passport, and is therefore not an import... and could still probably get a few millions dollars anyway) would not affect buyout = More money for Gadz
My only question is why this wasn't done last summer... when we were chasing cap space... we could have almost doubled what we had??

Buying out Gadz doesn't save you cap space. It would save you money if he agreed to take less to leave but his salary is still on the books.

Ok... sorry my bad...

This makes it even worse though ... I had always thought the buyout to be a more than viable option.

Knicks owner would have been poor but happy right now.

Que?
Look, there's not much to talk about concerning Danny G, if this moron of a coach stays at the helm. And then Gadz finally gets some minutes and does rather well, then the next game LK suddenly brings stone-hands-Ruffin in. I dont get it?! It's probably me..
Furthermore I am getting a little tired defending Gadz, especially when he doesnt play at all, so yeah perhaps that's some sort of silence.
But my manloving of him, still aint over yet.
