One of the best things that could happen for the Bucks...

...would be Boston winning the title. Here's why:

Teams in the NBA love trying to emulate success.

The Bucks have a piece in Michael Redd that would help these teams try to emulate said success. There are a few who would give it a shot.

Michael Redd's trade value goes up and maybe the Bucks get close to what Seattle got for Ray Allen.

The much needed rebuilding process begins... again, with the Bucks emulating a team of their own. The Trailblazers.

So when PP puts up his Who to Root For post, put me down for the Boston Celtics.

I concur. We need a reason for Nowak to wear a #23 bucks jersey again.

Yes...If Ray lights it up in the playoffs and is an X factor that will help Redd's value.....

The new team thread is coming in the next day or two.....I'm just waiting for us to get hammered again tomorrow night.

we should go all out

just have every buck fan post in the game thread for whatever team we pick

or we could just make our own game threads for that team

But this also depends on the draft class. With this year being particularly strong, I don't think we get the same ray 5 pick or even a top 7-8. Last years class wasn't that great outside of the top 3 of Durant, Oden, Horford.

Plus you have to be lucky that a team thinks it can make that push, and turn it around quickly. Small market teams generally wouldnt go all out and try this (as drastically as Boston did). But given the teams that are at the bottom (NY, CHI, Miami), its possible.

Experts were saying that the last draft was on par with the '03 draft. Is '08 supposed to be even better than '07?

Trade Redd in the offseaon, hopefully get a top 3 pick and somehow dump simmons or DG. If none of these three happen next year will be the same.

Did they? Maybe its just seeming worse in hindsight (which isn't important because the Bucks would trade the pick before), but 6-11 don't seem that great to me at the moment.

Traded to Seattle Jeff Green - SF
6 Milwaukee Yi Jianlian - PF
7 Minnesota Corey Brewer - SG
8 Charlotte
Traded to Golden State Brandan Wright - PF
9 Chicago
from New York Joakim Noah - PF
10 Sacramento Spencer Hawes - C
11 Atlanta
from Indiana Acie Law - PG
