They dont stand a chance against the Hornets. Paul will 15 or more assists and we will get dominated inside like every other night.

It's a shame there's a swear filter on this site. I would've thought Hornets @ F-UCKS might be a more appropriate title given the pathetic attitude of the players on this so called team.

No, I forgot to mention that the hornets couldn't make the game so we played Marquette womans team instead.

Villanueva, Bogut hope to heal up at break
By Charles F. Gardner
Tuesday, Feb 12 2008, 03:14 PM

St. Francis - Charlie Villanueva moved into the starting lineup last week and was making his fourth start of the season on Monday night.

So his disappointment was understandable, after the 6-foot-11 forward sprained his right ankle in the third quarter of the Bucks' 96-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Villanueva was wearing a big boot on his right foot at practice today, but he said he would try to return by Feb. 20 when the Bucks play their first game after the league all-star break.

"I'm going to take the break and use it, stay off it, rest it as much as I can," Villanueva said. "I'm looking forward to playing in the Detroit game."

Villanueva's absence means that 7-foot rookie Yi Jianlian will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday night's home game against New Orleans, the Bucks' final game before the break.

Villanueva attributed his improved play to regular minutes he has received as a starter.

"It's a matter of playing," Villanueva said. "Before, there was too much on my mind. I was thinking too much. I just wasn't playing basketball. When you start, you have a different mentality. This league is about confidence, man."

Bucks sneak out a win as CP3 and West aren't focused since they are planning for some good parties back home for the all-star game.

That and everyone on the Bucks will try to outplay each other to prove they have the best agenda and have great games.

This will be the turning point of the season, IMO. It will be very interesting to see how the team responds to Larry K's comments. They're either going to bring us together or tear us apart (judging from europa's 'team meeting' thread, it'll be the later). If we get blown out, I half expect to wake up the next morning and see that half the team was traded and/or the Larrys were sent packing...
Scott Skiles on being compared by reporters to Hall of Fame coach Pat Riley: "If I thought you guys knew anything, I'd be flattered."
