Go get Kyle Lowry

Post#1 » by Wade-A-Holic » Thu Feb 14, 2008 3:40 am

I don't care how young this guy is. The way he plays is something that everybody else on this team could learn from. He plays like he's never satisfied with himself. He's always challenging and competing on both ends of the floor. I obviously can't speak to whether it's true or not that he's on the block, but he's a step in the right direction. Sooner or later we're going to have to take a page out of Portland's book and start bringing in guys with the right attitudes.

Yes trade stuff.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

Not sure, but there's no doubt that Memphis could use another big right now. I'm definitely not proposing giving up Yi, Charlie, or Drew for him though.

If we're lucky, maybe Memphis will hand him to us like they did Pau and the Lakers. Honestly though I have a feeling they want expiring, low salaried players so they can rebuild, or most likely look to sell the team soon. All our trade assets have big contracts. Maybe something with CV? I wouldn't give up any picks, but I would just about give up everything under the sun besides Bogut and Yi. However I don't think they are looking to add anything major, so its hard so say what we could offer.

Villanueva/2008 second for Lowry/Warrick is the proposal I made in my 3 Steps thread.

I was thinking something like Charlie, Voskuhl, and Storey for Warrick, Lowry, and Cardinal. Getting rid of Cardinal's contract is the big selling point for the Grizzlies. For the Bucks, adding athleticism and a hardnosed defender with a good attitude is the selling point.

Yeah I kind of just copied what you went with. I added Ivey to even it out.

I've heard good things about Lowry this year, so its surprising that he's on the block, and that Conley isn't. Then again, Conley's been hurt this year.

Yeah, and they just got Crittenton also. I can see why Lowry is the odd man out.

Conley's their future and he has the talent to be an outstanding PG in this league. He and Gay are the foundations for that team going forward. No way he's going anywhere. And now that they just traded for Crittenton it makes sense that Lowry is the one on the block even if he is a talented young player.

Milwaukee is not a good trade partner for Memphis, they want expiring deals...the Bucks are littered with crappy contracts.

That's why the Bucks should take back Cardinal in a deal with them.

I'll gladly take on cardinal to get lowry.

Then the bucks can flip mo/gadz over to the heat for their expirings.

I read the Grizzlies are looking to have a total of 3 first round picks this year. So i assume they want to use him in some sort of deal for a first.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
