My Bucks Blow-up

Post#1 » by zmanishere11 » Thu Feb 14, 2008 9:47 pm

Your love for these deals depend on how bad you want to blow things up. We may or may not be able to pull some 1sts out of these deals as well, but at this point I'd do all of these without them.

Both work in the trade checker.

Deal #1:

Mil Trades:

Redd

Mil Gets:

Eric Snow
Donyell Marshall
Cedric Simmons
Kyle Lowery'
Devin Brown

Why??

I know I know, why the hell would we want these guys? Well I like Lowry and Simmons has some potential. But Marshal and Snow expire next year, they could get us something decent this summer or this time next year. Brown is cut.

CLE. Trades:

Eric Snow
Donyell Marshall
Drew Gooden
Cedric Simmons
Devin Brown

CLE Gets:

Redd
Brian Cardianl

Memphis Trades:

Lowry
Cardinal

Memphis Gets:

Drew Gooden

I would think CLE and MEM would jump at this deal. Cle gets Bron some help without giving up much, and memphis gets Gooden's deal that's a year shorter than cardinal, but isn't worthless like cardinal.

Deal #2:

Mil Trades:

Bobby Simmons
Mo
Gadz

Mil Gets:

J Will
Ricky Davis
Zo
Dorell Wright
Smush Parker

Tell J will, davis, zo, and parker to watch the rest of the season from the comfort of their own homes.

Lineup:

Lowry/Snow/Sessions
Bell/Dez
Wright/Simmons/Marshal
Yi/CV
Bogut/Voskul

We've got the cap space to re-up with both bogut and wright in the summer, draft a stud guard like gordon/rose/mayo, and next year this time we've got $13.5m in expiring contracts to pick up a new overpaid veteran (Arenas, Elton Brand, Kirilenko come to mind as possibilities) to go with a nice young core.

The first deal is horrendous. Honestly why the hell would you even think of that?

Yes, Eric Snow can coach Mo Williams how to pass. Oh wait . . . . .

Any actual feedback?
