Can Bucks get in on Devin if this Nets thing falls through?
I know many of us would like Devin Harris and feel he'd be a better PG for us than Mo.
With Devin possibly being disgruntled that Dallas is looking to replace him, maybe we could get in on the action.
Would Dallas take Mo straight up for him? Would they like Redd as a sixth man or starter, possibly expanding the deal to get us some future #1's?

It is certainly possible that the Bucks could get involved and make a bid for Devin Harris. He certainly fits exactly what (imo) you want from a point guard in the NBA. He can score, he can defend, he is smart, etc. Hollinger (not a guy I am a huge fan of) ranked him (with his mad scientist formula) as the best defensive point guard in the league.
Perhaps with D George blocking the previously discussed trade, the Bucks can get involved and send Mo and CV to New Jersey, take a bad contract or two, and make it all work.
What I do know is that the Nets were BURGLARIZING the Mavs in that last deal. And Rod Thorn is too smart to want Mo instead of Devin unless we sweetened the deal.

It really depends on what he thinks of Mo and CV obviously. But they have a hole at PF and will have a hole at PG, although they do have Marcus Williams IDK if they think he can be a starter or not.
I'd love to have Devin Harris at PG for this team.
If the Bucks were smart, and they're not, they would do everything possible to get Devin Harris here. It would actually infuse some excitement and buzz into the franchise.
Hometown boy, Madison alum, great face for the franchise.
He's also exactly the kind of point guard we need. Quick, defensive minded, pass first. He would be a great compliment to Redd and he's played with a great big man already and he knows how to make entry passes.
Not everyone agrees, but I would piss my pants to get Devin Harris here.

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."

As if we don't have enough bad contracts on this team.

Maybe the Bucks could get involved and make it a 3 way.
In all seriousness maybe the Bucks could get involved with the Nets and Mavs, something that involves Devin Harris going to the Bucks and Mo to the Nets with the Mavs obviously getting Kidd?
Of course other players would be involved to make it work but I could see something like that happening.

The Nets are wheeling and dealing it seems. Now they've got it right.
If they do his deal with Kidd and then turn around and move Vince to the Pacers for O'Neal you have a great trifecta in Devin Harris, Jermaine O, and Richard Jefferson along with Sean Williams and the other guys they get from the Mavs...
And they would have gotten rid of all those big contracts as well. Just a superb job by the Nets. If both deals get done.
SF Jefferson
PF O'Neal
C Kristic
PG Harris
SG Wright/Stackhouse
Not bad at all...
You still got Swift, Boone, Williams and a few others.
Impressive makeover if they can get both deals done. It is something the Ducks I mean 'Bucks' should consider as if I really give a crap anymore?
Frankly I don't...the Brewers season can't come any faster for me.

Devin Harris, maybe even a Sean Williams and Vince Carter in that 3 team trade if you move Redd or Mo to get it done.Magic 32 wrote:It could be a possiblity. Cuban wanted Redd before he signed his 4 yr, 16 million deal with the Bucks how many years ago? Maybe he feels and has seen Redd become another weapon they could use? If it were to happen we would probaly get Terry and Harris somehow or involve a 3rd team? You never know?
Where do I sign?
