Gives us a chance to add some 2-way players this summer. Deng, Iguodala, and Josh Smith all available. Plus, we enter the draft with a couple picks.

I would do it if we could get those teams to do it. At least its something different and renews my hope for success in the future.

only if atleast one of deng iggy or smith are not RFA preferably iggy and smith. so we could throw everything at them.

Then try to swing CV for Patrick O'Bryant and a 1st (currently 20).

The first one with Orlando would be insane for both teams. I'd love to see what kind of numbers Mo could put up on Orlando that really needs a decent backcourt.

I just wish I could see the Bucks making good use of the cap space it would free up. Probably a max contract extension for Bogut and a couple more Voskuhls. :noway:

That first trade would be great for Orlando. Even Gadz would suit their team well.

We could maybe weasel the rights to Fran Vasquez out of them as well.

I think Orlando needs more of a true PG, not a small sg, unless of course Hedo can run there halfcourt offense...........it would be stupid to acquire all of these expiring contracts when everyone knows Milwaukee is not a popular free-agent destination.

You know what is popular among free agents?

Money.

true but you know as well as I that Milwaukee has always had problems bringing in FA's, especially with a terrible team that has awful ownership and 3 coaches in 4 years.

Well then, we should stick with the same **** for the next 5 years too.

You have to either build through the draft or make trades for players you think can help....its what the Packers do and the Brewers are doing. Once you start to develop a winner free agents are much more interested in coming.

If you somehow pulled all three deals off, we would have under contract:

Mason at 5,300,000
Bogut at 6,294,306
Bell at 3,348,000
Yi at 2,986,080
Session at 711,517
smush at 2,400,000 (if he exercises his player option)
Wright at 2,425,086

for a total of 23,464,989 with Smush and 21,064,989 without

With an estimated cap of say 58 million, thats gives us either
34,535,011 to spend or 36,935,011 depending on Smush.

With current draft positions, we would also have the 8th, 20th, 21st, and 38th pick of the draft.

I have to admit, that would probably be the coolest and most fun off season ever. We would probably not be good for a few years but we would constantly be getting better for the next few years as the young kids grow and mature.

Here is what I would do BTW, I would try to sign Josh Smith and Iggy and draft another good young point. For the other picks and money, I would just try to fill in the spaces with role players who have skills to complement the team like a defensive rebounding big, a SG/SF who has defensive skills, maybe a 3point sharp shooter of some sort, etc.

Just get rid of a little more salary :)
Charlie Bell and Desmond Mason for Von Wafer, Anthony Carter, Eduardo Najera

These 2 trades suck. These actually leave the franschise in a worse state then we are in now. How about making some trades that bring us equal or better talent.

If we got Iggy or Smith either of them are probably more talented then this whole team.

I don't know how we could be in any worse shape than our current status. Doing Mid's deals, we clean house entirely and get to structure a team with some logic from scratch and build around Bogut, Yi, our draft picks, and whatever F/A players fit. Oh, we also shed dead weight contracts, just another bonus. I'm totally in favor of this method and I would actually have some hope for the future of the franchise.

If the Heat could be talked into giving their pick instead of Dorrell Wright, I'd push hard for that.

Alas, I can't wait for us to acquire Pietrus and make our run for the 8th seed and a first round exit!

Also, how are we in a worse state? We'd most liekly be able to win 20-30 games which is what were are used to and we'd have a TON of room to grow in the future.

I think it would make more sense for all involved if you switched destinations for Mo and Redd.

Send Mo to Miami and Mike to Orlando.
