CB to be on Homer's Show

Post#1 » by SpeedBump44 » Mon Feb 18, 2008 9:40 pm

Charlie Bell will be making his first appearance of the year on Homer's show on 540AM. I asked Mitch (producer) to ask Homer to ask CB whether he is in fact "Flintstone" for those few stragglers who don't believe it is actually him. We'll see if Homer actually asks the question. Homer discussed the RealGM site a lot last week, so hopefully we can keep the train rolling.

It should be interesting to hear CB on the show, since the last time CB was on was when he was in the middle of the contract negotiations and made some very interesting comments.

Homer had him on a lot last year, and Bell was usually jovial on the air. I wonder if it will be the same this year. Homer was an advocate of using Bell over Mo Williams, as he believes Bell to be the better PG.

I'll give a summary for those who can't hear it.

Cool, Thanks in advance for the summary as I will not be able to listen.

BTW, anyone who still questions whether CB is Flintstone is a moron, IMHO of course.

Ugh I can't even listen to him anymore. What a horrible sports talk host and an insufferable Marquette homer.

Yeah pretty weird given his nickname is HOMER

So, Bell isn't on?

I'm real curious as to what he has to say and if the Bucks know he's going on air.

I know he's a homer but he's quite possibly the worst one I've heard. Apparently he thinks yelling louder means he's right too which is pretty annoying. Now I know why I don't listen to him.

Ugh, I don't know if I can handle listening to this guy. All he does is yell and whine. I seriously want to punch something listening to this guy.

I agree, but he isn't nearly as bad as Sparky.

I never thought I'd find someone more annoying than Sparky. Homer takes the cake.

Does CB want everyone in Milwaukee to know he posts on here? I just kinda thought of it as our little Real GM secret. :eyebrows:

Sparky may be annoying, but at least he knows what he's talking about most of the time.

Not to mention he's the last person on the radio that will actually talk aout the Bucks, not to mention had the nads to bring up the Europa's Team Meeting rumor when no one else on the station would touch it.

Sparky's voice sounds like a chainsaw slicing into my occipital lobe. But he is passionate which makes him interesting.

Actually Steve Haywood talks about the bucks all the time, and usually has decent insight into the team. Although he is a bit of a homer.

Sounds like he will be in after the commercial break. 2:30 CST.

I may not be able to post a summary because I have a quick meeting at work.

Friggin job..
