Hunt is back......he's emboldened to focus on the Bucks.....which is great......

Talks about all our contract mistakes.....says the trade deadline is coming up.....the Bucks don't have much of value except overpaid crap they made mistakes on. But since KVH figured in a deal.......time to start dealing.

Nothing startling there by any stretch, but good to see more mainstream media getting involved in telling the bucks to get off their a**. After all, they obviously aren't listening to us.

This is the prime time to focus on the Bucks. Nothing much happening for the Packers or Brewers right now. As we get into spring training games the Bucks will drop off everyone's radar.

Impossible to watch? Why? Cause he's on the bench most if not all the time?

Thats true...
The CV and Magloire trades came ouf of nowhere, and I loved them at the time. LH definitely knows how to pull off a move out of nowhere that looks genious at the time.

Sadly, so far harris' moves usually turn out for the worse as time goes by.

I think something will go down, but I have a feeling it will be a boring lateral move that won't really boost my excitement for the rest of the year (ala CV for Pietrus).

Gaza would shine on some NBA teams. Bucks Owner, GM (though Harris really isn't a GM, personel and coaches are at the High school level and can't coach period or do anything.

This is what jumped out at me.

Asked if he expected any moves before the deadline, coach Larry Krystkowiak, who admittedly has more pressing matters on his mind, said, "I don't, but I haven't been involved in any of the decisions. I don't anticipate any changes, but what do I know?"

The head coach isn't involved in any decisions? I understand he's not the owner or GM but wouldn't you think he'd at least be asked for his input? How dysfunctional must this team be if you don't even care what your head coach thinks about the players? His "but what do I know" remark strikes me as sounding disgruntled.

The "Trade Redd for expirings" makes no sense to me. So the purpose would be to have cap room to do what?

1. Try to sign players who don't want to play for the Bucks?

2. Have more money to spend so you can repeat the contract mistakes you've made?

Seems to me that it could be argued that having "cap space" three summers ago is one of the reasons why the Bucks are in the mess they're in. I'm fine with trading Redd, but don't just give him away. Get something of value for him. If you can't, it's not like the guy sucks. He's still your best player. There are worse things in the world than having someone like Michael Redd on your team. Much worse in my opinion.

I'm guessing you didn't like the Gasol trade for Memphis then?

I'd shop Redd and Mo heavily right now. I'd even take back a trading block garbage guy like Andre Miller for Mo or JO for Redd.

I can't see young players and picks and prospects for either guy being a realistic option.

And see if Riles would send us Haslem for Mo since he's in a dealing mode.

I'd definitely be shopping both of them as well. The market has pretty much dried up for Mo unfortunately but I'd still see if Houston or Miami had interest. Both would be good trading partners with the Bucks.

I don't see a Redd for O'Neal trade making much sense for the Bucks. If Redd's contract is a main issue than bringing back a player with a big contract and major durability issues who happens to play the position of the team's PF of the future doesn't add up.

Edited to add - as far as Redd, I'd dangle him in front of Utah and see if the Jazz bite or see if there's a way to get a three-team deal going which sends Redd to Cleveland. The Cavs don't have squat to offer for Redd in my opinion but a third team could make a deal more palatable.

I would be happy to get Andre Miller or JO. Yes they may be garbage for their prospective teams but it is garbage that fits our team.

I totally agree with Europa that it makes no sense to deal for expiring deals. We have nothing to offer FA's.

I liked the Garnett deal because it allowed MN to get a number of young players who had some potential. That's a better route than expiring deals that leave you with nothing.

IMO Utah would have no interest in Redd, they picked up Korver who can score within the framework of there offense, spread the floor, and not demand the ball............that team has so much chemistry and plays good, solid team defense, Redd just would not fit in there. I don't see Cleveland with anything to offer the Bucks or anyone else for that matter.
