This a big game for "our" hornets. They currently sit atop the Western Conference and Dallas is in a lowly 6th place, but is only 2 games back of New Orleans. This should prove to be a good game with one of the best point guards in the game, Jason Kidd, starting for his new team and going up against one of the up and coming best point guards, Chris Paul.

Game 52/82
8:00 PM ET
New Orleans Arena
New Orleans, LA

The sticky is locked so I just feel like posting my opinion here and then I'll stay out of these.

But I understand what you guys are doing following a new team b/c you're so fed up with whats going on here.

But I don't care about the Hornets and I never will.

I personally think it's stupid to dilute this board with postings and threads about how the Hornets are doing.

Now there's going to be game threads for NOH?

I wish everyone who wanted to support NOH would just go over to the NOH board, they'll probably accept you just fine.

While my interest in attending games has dwindled I still watch every game and will watch this team to almost the end no matter how bad it gets.

I understand what you're saying EastSide...I probably won't watch NOH games, I'm pulling for the suns cause I like watching Nash play and I'm a Shaq fan. Everyone here stills lives and dies for the Bucks. PP25 suggested we do game threads for NOH, being bored I just threw one together...that's all

so i guess no one cares about us.

we're underdogs despite the number 1 status.

all front runners go to the suns or lakers board...lol.

I don't get it. Some people think it will be fun to follow another team the rest of the season. It doesn't mean they aren't Bucks fans, they just want to see a team win some games.

For those that don't want to follow another team and/or hate the Hornets and/or think this thread is dumb - DON'T BOTHER TO READ OR POST ON THE THREAD.

I applaud you guys for doing this. By having game threads it will get me interested in following the Hornets as well.

To be honest, I get much more enjoyment out of talking hoops with you guys than watching the Bucks at this point. And 24 hours from now after Kohl has done nothing at the trade deadline, this board will be a ghost town.

So let's cheer for a new team. Make friends with some Hornet's fans and enjoy playoff basketball.

I have a number of business colleagues in Charlotte who all told me when the Hornets left, they were glad, because George Shinn was such a terrible owner.

Well, in all honesty, Shinn has put together a great track record of success the last 15 years with his team. Sure he gets caught with the Kings strippers but he knows how to win. A whole hell of a lot better job than Kohl.

Look how that guy remade Charlotte into a contender....not just a crummy 41 win PLAYOFF team....but a contender....and he did it in three years.

Go Hornets!
