Just wondering if any of you are watching this game. I seriously hope these two teams meet in the playoffs, since this is some of the most exciting basketball I've seen in the regular season.

Awesome game - both teams are really good. Shaq is making Kerr look wise.

Great game,I think the NBA kind of had a ''Lull'' the last couple years but the NBA is back bigtime this season.
The playoffs are going to be incredible, ecspecially in the west.
Kobe has realy changed his game for the better this season but all he realy has done is now he seems he would rather pass the ball than take a bad/tough shot.
Redd should take notes.

This game is incredible.
Shaq diving out of bounds for loose balls and everything.
I'm not saying it was a bad trade for Phoenix, but Shaq is trying harder than I've seen since the Finals year.

I'm kinda surprised at how good Shaq is going to be on this team. Man, who'd have thought eventually people would see Shaq, Kobe, Nash, Gasol, Odom, Grant Hill, and Stoudemire all in the same game?

i'm happy about the trade because it will make the west playoffs even better
but shaq's a b****,
he just didn't feel like playing in miami because they weren't very good

Fixed for my own personal tastes. The East still bores the hell out of me outside of Boston and Detroit. Sorry, Cleveland.
Always gotta hope for a Suns/Lakers series. Kobe plays possessed against them. Now that they got Gasol? Damn.

I've never been a big Shaq fan but this game is actually turning it around for me a little. When he's committed to winning there's not a lot that's gonna stop him. He can just be such a beast.

Shaq after his first dunk on DJ Mbenga,"You can't stop me!"

And lemme also say that Kobe is just so damn sick. Hardly a revelation I know, but its such a pleasure to watch him play.

Watching it right now
This is like watching an all star game. It's really great basketball to watch.
Shaq is motivated and he is out to prove everyone wrong who said he wouldn't work on this team. He is giving them an element they didn't have before.
The Western Conference playoffs are going to be amazing this year I think.
You've got 8 teams who all think they should be in the conference finals - Spurs, Mavericks, Lakers, Suns, Jazz, Hornets, Warriors and Nuggets,
Especially with all the player movement, I think it's going to be some of the best basketball in years.

Miami should be pissed that Shaq wasn't trying like this for them. Shaq has still got it though. He is not as explosive as he used to be but considering how out of shape he must be, he looks great.

Just started watching it in the 4th, great game so far. Shaq's playing harder than I've seen him play in 2 years.

When he's "in it" (for lack of better terms), like he has been most of this season, for me there isn't a more entertaining and enjoyable player out there to watch (outside of Jordan). He's pure bliss on both ends of the court.
Just my two cents. There problem is, in the past he hasn't always been "in it." And, of course, all the off-court stuff.

It's funny watching PHX outrebound a team by double digits, too.

By the way, folks, Gasol with the Lakers (not including tonight):
21 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 1 Steal, 1 Block, 64% FG.
This is after having played only a couple weeks in the triangle.

Shaq is throwing his body all over the place. This game is hilarious. Amare's definitely gonna benefit from Shaq's presence...

I sort of agree and obviously the east doesnt have near the depth in numbers of solid teams the west has but I think an ECF between the Celtics and Pistons would make up for it,thats going to be an epic series.
Then of course like you mentioned you have the wild card in Lebron and the Cavs that could maybe spoil things and makes things a little interesting.
I also think the Magic with Dwight Howard could be a wild card type team like the Cavs and maybe scare a Detroit or a Boston.

They might be a threat, but they're boring to watch, regardless.

Thats one of those things I dont think is right yet I can understand where a guy is comming from with that attitude.
Its hard to bust your ass and play hard when your playing with a bunch of guys that dont care.
I know its seems strange to some people but guys that are like that are guys that actually care a lot about winning, they just get frustrated with the losing and then when they look at their teammates they dont see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I've said it before but I think Bogut is kind of like that,I think if you put Bogut on a top team in the west you'd see a different (better) player in Andrew Bogut.
Bogut gets frustrated with losing then looks at guys like Redd & Mo and is probably like **** it why bother.
