Done

Post#1 » by Newz » Thu Feb 21, 2008 8:14 pm

I am just done watching the Bucks for the rest of the year.

There is honestly no reason. They aren't fun to watch, they have no great players and they are just boring to discuss... There is just nothing to be excited about or look forward to in the future with this particular group of players. I hoped something would happen at the trade deadline to renew my interest...

I'm going to watch the West and when the playoffs come around I'm sure I'll be back to discuss. Until either then (or around draft time) I am just going to take a break from this pathetic excuse for a basketball team/professional sports franchise.

I will second that. I have never been more frustrated in my 17 years as a Diehard Bucks fan.

Same.

No Kohls Paper Bag walk out, no petition, just finished. With this season bringing to light just how phucked up this franchise is, Kohl knew he needed to do something to renew faith/excitement in this team yet he stood still. I'm done with the Bucks until they can prove to me that they are about winning.

it definitely would have been nice if they had made a move, even if it was just for an exciting scrub like Gerald Green.

Will not watch another game this year or give the Bucks another dime until major moves are made.

Not done, just for the record. I see the need to send a message, and it looks like that message will have to be really drastic to get anywhere close to getting through. Whether or not you really actually don't watch any more games or check things out here, I wouldn't blame anyone at all for taking a break, definitely your choices. I won't call names like fair-weather fan or whatever. And I wasn't around to suffer through all of 25 awful years from the Packers. But even when the excitement and then even the interest drops, it doesn't all go away.

I'm not sure whether I'll follow the rest of the season or not. There's nothing to look forward to now though. No playoffs, and I'm not going to be on here every day cheering for the team to tank. I guess I just don't care anymore. Don't care if they win or lose; make the playoffs or don't make them; stay in Milwaukee or leave. Don't care.

Oh what a pitty party. Great, then don't watch. As if it would have made a huge difference this year if we made a move?

Yeah, we suck, so what? But to hell if I'm gonna stop watching my team, no matter how bad they are.

Same here. I was hoping to go to at least 2-3 more games this year but what's the point? I just will look forward to March Madness and Opening Day I guess.

Just thought I'd drop by to see if Herb would do anything before the deadline. I kinda figured he wouldn't but ..........

Well, I've got many other sports related things to keep me busy till summer; I simply can't stand this anymore! See ya!

Sweet, with mods quitting the Bucks franchise the board will go unmoderated! It's a free for all!

What a bunch of Mr Whippy's. You watch the good with the bad.
