Is Kohl Committed to Mo/Redd/CV?

This is a serious question for the future of our franchise. We may have just let nothing happen during this trade deadline because of lack of trust in Harris, but I am much more concerned that Kohl legitimately is committed to this core.

It's not like Harris ever was the only player at the table, and with Babcock doing more and more team media functions it seems like we'll be putting one of htose players at the table in the front man's position if/when Harris gets canned. So why weren't we seriously persuing any tardes iwht these guys? Why did we only seem to seriously consider sending off our garbage for other garbage?

Will finishing this season poorly lead Kohl to the decision that a few or all of those guys need to go? After two horrid seasons in a row under two different coaches, I worry that there is nothing that could shake Kohl's confidence in these three players that say all the right things---something that Kohl seems to put at a premium above unselfishness or defensive intensity.

If you listened to Babcock on the basketball show Thursday night, the only "talent" he mentioned by name was bogut and YI, take that for what its worth.

Mo will be traded before next season start. Maybe Redd as well but Mo will be traded for sure.

I really wish I had your guys' confidence. We did seem to think about trading Mo in a Mcgrady trade, but that was the only rumor any of us heard I think that involved him. After all his lockerroom craziness, why didn't we persue any trades for him?

We also didn't seem to persue any CV trades after Kohl shot down including him in a Randolph trade. This makes absolutely no sense considering how open CV was about bieng OK with leaving and not being happy with his role.

I think these two guys are the most essential ones that need to be jettisoned off this team for chemistry purposes. I just don't get how Kohl could be so confident in the core of this team not to seriously persue trades. I dont' buy the rationale that it was because Harris is a lameduck----not if Babcock is the heir apparent, and considering how many other sources Kohl looks to for roster management.

That is interesting...It is just a prediction or you have an insider source?

Same girl that told me about meeting conversation. I can't say that is source because she has 0 credibility just like I do when I talk about her. Yet I do believe her but can/will/do understand that others have no reason to.

assuming that she is right, why didn't we more seriously persue Mo trades at the deadline? Everything we hear about Harris' power in the organization suggests taht he is far from essential for our capacity to make a trade, so even if we plan on blaming him for this mess why haven't we try to trade him yet?

I just worry that the notion that Kohl will see the light and recognize that Mo and CV have no place on this team this summer is too simple. If he hasn't seen the light yet after how horrible our chemistry has gotten, why do we assume he will this summer?

I can only guess and my guess is that Mo's BYC status and Harris' status were main reasons for that. But she told me that Bucks did decide to trade him. Now, they could change their mind of course. Mo could have great end of season and Bucks could still make playoffs. That could force Bucks to change their mind but before Nuggets game the decision was to trade Mo. We will see how everytning end though.

I agree. They have to realize that they'll go nowhere without a defensive presence on the ball.
