Bucks vs Nugs post game thread

Post#1 » by Nowak008 » Sun Feb 24, 2008 4:10 am

Great games from our big 3. Bogut dominated the glass. Redd was the Redd from last year. Mo had a great all around game including good D on Ivo.

Game balls gotta go to the Charlies. Bell played great D on Melo down the stretch, and CV played really well down the stretch as well including a huge steal.

Go Bucks!

WTF happened? I turned it off because I had to work on a project for work and check the score to see we went from being down 20 to winning.

can't believe what i've just seen. that's our milwaukee bi-polars.

player of the game is redd, only just over bogut. i give it to redd because i thought he actually played some decent defense and hustled a bit tonight.

the first half made me vomit and the second half got me excited about what could be if we scrape into the 8th seed.

go bucks.

it's worth going back to watch the second half if you have the opportunity.

Also this team looks MUCH better playing an up tempo offense.

It was disappointing to see Bogut not do much offensively, but he was going against the best defender in the league. Bogut did out play Camby on the boards in this game so that was encouraging to see.

Yi looks really bad right now. He has hit the rookie freight train.

Well half the board will want him to go to every game for now on and the other half will want him to stay home.

2 hours before the game i recieved row B tickets, didnt know if i wanted to go, but am really happy i went

anyone know why Yi didn't play much?
only reason he played 2nd half was because that group of white shirt kids were yelling "put yi in"

You were at the game, you should have known why he didn't play. He wasn't very good.

Was at the game. The boo birds were out in the first (rightfully so) and crowd not into at all.

Second half (mainly the 4th quarter) WOW! Amazing atmosphere. Honestly felt like a playoff game. Crowd went bonkers when CB hit the 3 to go ahead for good.

We may be 21-35 but tonights second half put a smile on my face when it comes to the way this team is capable of playing and getting the crowd into it. Imagine a playoff series against the Celtics and if we were able to pull a Warriors from last year. Very long shot but damn the thought brings tears to my eyes!

Yeah, we looked great getting outscored 17-0 on the fast break in the first half :)

In the second half we just made shots and then defended in the half court...didn't seem particularly up-tempo to me.

So glad I'm still following this team! Never would have expected that comeback when we were getting killed in the first half. Wow.

AS long as he does one or the other.

Nothing would be worse than finishing out the rest of the season at .500 and finishing like 34-48 with the 9th pick.

This was a pre-Krystowiack type of game. In the Porter-Stotts days we would go down 10 to 15 every game and make a run. This year we get down 10 to 15 we we'll surely go down 30 to 35 shortly there after. I can't remember us making a run this season like we did tonight. It was amazing and pathetic at the same time.

Let them win two in a row before you start mouthing off.
