This was kind of discussed on Gary and Cliff yesterday between who was the "team of wisconsin" between the Packers and Brewers. I say hands down the Packers, but I kind of want to see where the Bucks fall in line.

I voted for the Bucks, because I have already seen the PAckers win the big one, and because the 2001 ECF was the best live sporitng event I have ever been to.

This one was tough for me, but I ended up actually going with the Brewers. I went to UW, and while I was there they won the Rose Bowl and made the Final 4 in my freshman year, so while not national championships, I've seen them succeed at the highest levels. I've seen the Packers win a Super Bowl. Yeah, the Bucks were exciting back in the ECF days, but I really don't care about the team anymore. I honestly can't remember the Brewers ever being good (up until now finally, I was born in 1981, so the World Series doesn't exactly stand out in my memory) so I'd love to see them win the World Series - I think the fans and the team deserve that one a lot.

Good question.

I'm a Bucks, Packers and Cub fan. Couldn't care less about the Badgers or any college sports for that matter. The way all college sports decide championships (other than the college world series) is so laughable it is beyond stupid.

That being said it would be the Bucks, no question. My reason is this. Everyone (nearly) in Wisconsin is a Packer fan. I have seen them win a title in my lifetime. While I want them to win every game and the NY loss hurt badly, I have seen it done. However I would like a Super Bowl for my two sons (6 & 8) as they have begun to live and die with the Pack. As for the Cubs, there are so many Cub fans as well (especially the ones that come out of the woodwork like 2003 and even last year) that while it would be nice to see in my lifetime it would not be as special as a Bucks title. The Bucks have always been "my" team. Though there is great following on this board, they obviously don't get what the Packers (very understandable) and badgers (I'll never understand that) get. Even you fair weather out of the woodwork brewer fans put them above the Bucks. If they did win a title I'd almost wish there was no bandwagoning going on. I remember in 2001 after living and dying every game all season, they feel behind 3-2 to the Hornets and all I heard was they really do suck, etc... I told everyone they were winning games 6 and 7 and we didn't need you on the bandwagon any more. Also, I grew up with the late 70's/80's Bucks when they were my only team that was ever in the playoffs (save for the 82 Packers and 84 Cubs). For all those near, near misses and 7 game series losses to Seattle, Philly and Boston, I'd revel in a Bucks title forever.

A single elimination season? Why not just forget about all the meaningless stuff and just play it in November and call it a season?

Bucks - This is the dream...

Packers - Would love to see Favre play out his contract, with Ted Thompson loosening up and adding some smart free agent signings. How about this year, Randy? One last push...

Brewers - 25 years as a farm team had a negative effect on me. The last 10 years of MLB is also essentially meaningless.

College sports are great, especially college basketball. Who cares if it's single elimination, that is what makes it fun. March Madness rules.

As far as the topic, if I had to rank them it would be pretty tough, but I'd go:

1. NDSU basketball (gotta go family first, better chance of Gadzuric earning his paycheck than this happening though)
1a. Bucks
2. Brewers
3. Packers
4. Badger basketball
5. Badger football
6. Badger hockey

It's close for me throughout. Only reason I have Bucks #1 for Wisconsin sports is because it's something I can't really fathom at this point and I remember the insanity of the ECF season, while the other four teams at least have a somewhat legit shot of getting there in the near future and Badger hockey has already won one in the last few years.

Easy decision. Without a doubt the Brewers, followed by the Bucks and Packers.

Brewers by a narrow margin over the Bucks, just because I've never seen a successful Brewers team.

I already got the Badger championship I'm interested in in hockey.

Bucks no doubt, though Brewers aren't THAT far behind for me. Packers are way back given they've already won one in the last decade or so.

This is tough, just like I can't really pick favorites out of the three teams. But I guess I have to say the Bucks, because it means some management overhaul would definitely happen along the way (could never win it without that).

Good point, and another reason I'd like to see it be the Brewers. They went through all the necessary overhaul, it would be nice to see it pay off for them now.

Yeah. The Brewers really do deserve it the most out of all of them. The Packers have had success before, the Bucks have won a championship and haven't done anything right now to warrant a title. The Brewers deserve a championship. So do the Packers and so do the Badgers, but I think the Brewers deserve it the most.

I dont care how much success the Packers have had, football is my #1 sport and the thrill of watching your football team win it all trumps anything else in my book.

YEAH FOOTBALL
