I know this is being talked about in the other thread. I think this deserves it's own.

There seems to be a media convergence going on here....we can only hope Kohl is getting the message.

kohl would probably read this and do the opposite like hire his son....just to stick it to Simmons.

I'm sure Kohl is crunching his knuckles and scheming out how to kill Simmons while reading his work.

He's making 7.5 this year I believe. He's putting up numbers to boot. I just don't think he fits Milwaukee's system. He'd thrive in Miami or Cleveland or LA where he didn't necessarily have to handle the ball all the time and could do what he does best, score.

Know this: I would never stop badgering other GMs with trade offers. Plus, I'd win the respect of my players by kicking their butts in Madden and NBA Live on road trips. Oh, and I'd be smart enough to fire Larry Krysttsngswgwgtiak and hire Sam Cassell as a player-coach

that's hilarious.

I usually don't like Simmons' work, but this is pretty good. I still am a Larry Harris fan/homer.

More important still, I'm a true fan. Know what that means, people of Milwaukee? No more JumboTron music blaring during games. Cheerleaders who are the perfect blend of "wholesome" and "possibly slutty after three drinks."

It's like he read the "What's wrong with the BC?" thread.

I have a funny feeling the next GM for the Bucks thinks along the lines of Simmons.

He's probably calling adoption agencies as we speak, looking for some soon to be 18 year old who he can mold for the next few years.

I don't mind any of this at all, but it's just a good opportunity for him to have a little gimmick he can run with for a little while. And to a lesser extent maybe win more people over around this area with the attention, after all the inaccuracies he's thrown around about our teams forever. He probably has more readers than the Bucks have fans after all. I guess attention on his diversion takes away from being specifically pissed off at the guys in charge who aren't going to change anything without a ton of very specific pressure.

I don't hate him or anything, sometimes I enjoy what he writes and sometimes he has some interesting ideas you don't see anyone else talking about. He seems to have a better sense of basketball around the league than other sports, not really including the Bucks until he had this incentive. It wasn't long ago everyone picked on him for calling Mike clutch.

If his picking on a few other people who've made bad moves and putting in a couple hours research for the first time in years means you're joking with any seriousness about being able and qualified to run a team yourself... well that's a savvy political move I guess. Maybe he could fit right in after all.

Just do it, it'd be like that movie "Man Of The Year" without all the sabotage and manhunts.

Running an NBA team comes down to two things: patience and common sense. For instance, you can't destroy your cap space by overpaying role players. That's exactly what the Bucks did, spending more than $100 million on Bobby Simmons, Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric. And you can't build for the present and the future at the same time. The Bucks did that, too, when they drafted Yi Jianlian last summer. Trying to juggle two agendas at once

I like him but how can he say this team hasnt mattered in 20 years when in just 2001 we had the big 3... Granted thats been the only year in 20 years we have mattered but im just saying we did have that 1 year.
