Ben Wallace redux..wouldn't mind using a 2nd round pick on him

I think he's got Pistons written all over him. Probably the best rebounder in college ball but he's 24. He'd definitely be worth looking at, I think, particularly if we end up with a late first or two.

Last year it was rumored that the Pistons had promised to draft DeVon Hardin (also a player of interest for the Bucks) and I imagine the will again pursue him if he comes out as expected. Besides, when I think about it.. wouldn't Maxiell and Dorsey be somewhat redundant.

I fully expect Hardin to be off the board when the Pistons pick (though who knows?), and I think Dorsey is going to be capable of playing some C, so I don't think he and Maxiell are totally redundant... but somewhat, sure. Maxiell has something resembling a developing jumpshot, so I could see them on the court at the same time.

It's funny. I was just thinking this last night. He'd be a very good addition if we got him on the cheap (late 1st, early 2nd). All he has to be able to do offensively is grab a ton of rebounds and then dunk them. Thats it.

Yep my exact thought also.

I also still like Brandon Rush but depending on how high our draft pick ends up being I would pick a good defensive big man over him.

It's frightening that he barely hits a third of his free throws.

Yeah.. his free throw shooting is scary but so is Michael Ruffins.. what is great about both is how much hustle and rebounding they bring to a game.

Hmmmm I could live with Derrick Rose and Joey Dorsey.....although they do not come from a program known for there intelligent play.

I'm not a big draft for a limited player guy in the second round with some exceptions.

I mean what, we need an understudy to fill Michael Ruffin and Jake Voskuhl's role?

I like him as a second round pick. He fits what we want our team to be: defensive minded. The only thing is that his college statistics parallel to those of Ruffin. Can he become more?

However, anybody talking Rose or Beasley simply needs to let it go. It's HIGHLY UNLIKELY.

I like Hendrix a lot. He's smart and skilled... maybe a bit undersized, but he's got a good chance at being a pretty productive player. From what I hear and from the evidence on how his game has evolved, he's got a strong work ethic, too. He's not going to be a stopper but I think he's smart enough to be an average defender. DX compares him to Millsap, but I think he's got a chance to be a lot better offensively. He reminds me of Boozer at Duke, and I think he could eventually grow into the type of player Boozer has become.

I have seen a number of comparisons for him usually ranging from Millsap to Boozer. I will admit that I have only seen him play maybe one time though.

No, I like Blair of Pittsburgh or Caracter later in the second round or even Harangody?

Ok maybe not him. But Blair is a beast and this kid from Texas A&M who can sky...I have to go find out his name...

But that Blair guy from Pittsburgh looks like he can attack the glass and bring some heat as well like Zach Randolph would have done.

That is what is needed now. A guy who puts the wood on the opposing team and is a wide body and yet mobile, tough and athletic, but has a physicality about him.

Villanueva does not. He is a tease player...too much finesse. You must balance that position out.

You had the chance to bring in Randolph from what some reports say and unload 3 guys who did not want to be here or one who has not lived up to expectations and you blew it.

And then get a expiring deal in Fred Jones a good player in his own right and the idiotic Bucks passed.

Such is a haphazard backwards organization and why they will be going fishing in a month and a half...perhaps.

But Blair is my choice as well as DJ or Indiana...depends on where we end up in the lottery.

But Ruffin's not even a real rotation player...and arguably one of the worst offensive players in NBA history.

Joey Dorsey is a bigger nut then Randolph is! He is too emotionally immature as is the kid Green at Syracuse.

I like Blair at Pittsburgh. Dorsey is a loose cannon. I rather send our pick and Villanueva and Gadzuric or Yi to Charlotte for Emeka Okafor or someone of that ilk...

Bring in Ersan Ilyasova and David Noel and let them be your 'rookies' and l be done with it.

Dorsey is a loose cannnon and just seems like a guy who will not stay that focus his first few years and will be foul and injury and techincal foul prone.

You should have got Randolph and all this would have been solved.
