That last play was just stupid. Drive the lane.

He went went from surefire lotto pick his freshman year to a PG who you wonder if he'll ever "get it".

When Marquette took that double-digit lead early in the 2nd half, I said to myself "man, they are finally putting it together." I watched a few of their previous games and they were finally figuring out that their "big 3" shouldn't just sit there and iso and they were actually making the extra pass all the time.

Then they choked it away. What the heck was James doing taking it up the court so slowly on that last possession?

They watch the Bucks with their brainless style of basketball. How did James get into school in the first place? Tom Crean should spend less time in the tanning booth and more time on fun"duh"mentals.

I wonder what Bo Ryan could do with this team.

If you're going to make fun of his tanning then just go full out and call him Tan Cream.

They would have not fouled on the last shot. Hands up boys. Do not reach. I do not think Bo would have recruited James.

I agree that James doesn't fit his system but let's say tomorrow that Bo switches to Marquette, you can't say he would be disappointed to have James on his team.

No, but I do know that Bo would have kicked his ass on the last play in regulation. It was just stupid.

Eh...I don't think Crean is a bad coach.....

Speaking of Bruce Pearl, I think the Bucks made a big mistake not hiring that guy as their coach two years ago. He was definitely a smart enough guy to figure out the NBA.

Crean is a slightly above average coach. Agreed on Pearl, he's a very intelligent basketball mind.

I think that Marq has more talent than Wisconsin but Wisconsin is so well coached. I think he could even work magic with the Bucks.

Bruce Pearl is awesome.

As for Crean, his team really does play some intense defense. He is good at inspiring them to play some very in your face on the ball D. The problem is he doesn't have them using fundamentals on D(the foul on that 3) and doesn't discipline his team enough on offense. Maybe because he just let D-Wade do whatever he wanted and it worked out well he thinks that will work for every player he has.

Marquette is definitely more athletic. They are not a smart team though and that downgrades their "talent' somewhat. Badgers play better D and shoot better from the outside. They will go further in the tourney.
