Both CV and Bogut played very well tonight, but it was Charlie V who got us off to that great start.

Bogut no doubt, this might have been the best all around game of his career.
CV was lights out first half but went cold after that.

A CV Bogut tie for me, but I gave CV the love cause he doesn't get much. He went cold late, but his first half was huge.

Bogut played great and Redd had a very nice game as well but Villanueva gets the vote from me. By far his best game as a Buck.
Nothing will not break me.

I don't really understand why people keep talking about CV's bad second half. Like I wrote in the original post, he had 11 third quarter points on 4-8 shooting from the field and 3-3 from the stripe.

It's true that he was held scoreless in the 4th on 0-4 shooting, but Bogut wasn't much better with 1 point on 0-1 shooting and 1-4 from the line.

I'm torn.
Bogut played GREAT and had an awesome all-around game. Perhaps his most complete all-around game I've seen. He was stellar at everything other than free throw shooting.

I'm tempted to give it to Bogut due to that and the fact that Bogut was focusing too much on long distance jumpers (including bricking a whole bunch of those jumpers in the 2nd quarter). I don't want to encourage Villanueva to shoot more three pointers and long distance twos, because he normally isn't at all good at these shots (especially threes) except for rare days like tonight. I'd rather him operate closer to the hoop where he is literally one of the most lethal offensive weapons in the entire league.

That being said, Villanueva keyed the offensive onslaught for this game. He really made the Sonics adjust their defense and this opened up easier opportunities for the rest of our players and made it easier for them to score.
So I vote Villanueva for POTG tonight. Bogut was a CLOSE second.

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."

In a close one have to give it to Bogut based on his total all around game. Don't like CV at the 3 pt line at all. It is not what this club needs from him to win games.

Wow im surprised CV isn't in the lead.. without his break out game we lose this one. Bogut can have games like this every night.
