Redd brought us back but choked on a free throw. Ivey got destroyed by Steve Blake.

Meh.

Much credit to Redd who put the Bucks on his back the last 5 minutes of the game. Well run play by Portland for the game winning shot. I only wish we could run plays like that out of timeouts. It seems timeouts hurt us more than help us.

Ivey was worse than worthless.

Agreed, this team also needs a PG badly.

Can we just get a look at Sessions for like 5 seconds? LK is more delusional than Jim and Jon about Ivey's abilities.

The whole team looked soft tonight. No one on the team had a block. Bogut didn't pick up any fouls and rarely challenged anyone in the lane. Just weak.

Maybe Sessions can do great in a meaningless April game and Larry can give him $36 million. Oh wait that was Gadzuric.

This whole Redd choking from the line within the last 30 seconds thing is getting really old.

Blows me away that Redd can make one tough shot after another, then bricks yet another important free throw.

Aldridge has a pretty midrange jumper, Bogut could be so good if he could ever make those shots.

As for Ivey, for a guy said to be a great defender, he looked like a taller version of Mo allowing his man to blow right past him.

No, Mo looks smooth while playing bad defense. Ivey makes it look hard.

EDIT: And I agree. We can't draw and kick, or pick and pop, because Bogut can't hit a shot. That severely limits what we can do.

So he was selfish for the 17 minutes that he was on the bench too...oh and 50% from the field on 10 of 20 shooting isnt exactly selfish. I give him a pass on the missed free throw because if it wasnt for him stepping up at the end we would have had no chance to win this and Portland would have just pulled away.

Wow. Anyway, yes. He was INCREDIBLY selfish. Disgustingly so. Disturbingly so. Then he hit 3 tough shots to pull the team close. Then he choked (again).

I've come to expect pretty much all of that out of Redd at this point.

Wow. Right back at you. I have been critical of Redd as of late but he played well tonight. I did not see an overwhelming amount of selfishness but I guess if ya say so...

No question that Redd kept the Bucks in the game the last few minutes and it certainly wasn't only his fault we lost.

With that said, it was a very important free throw that he missed and he's been a brick machine at the line when they are important to make. He makes that free throw, the Blazers can't run the whole clock down.

Redd is an 85% free throw shoot and our max contract player, yet the guy can't make free throws with the pressure on. It's unacceptable for Redd to choke at the line as much as he does.

Yeah, to say Redd played selfish for 46 minutes is ridiculous. He only took 1 bad shot in the second half, the rest of his shots came in the flow of the offense when he was coming off wide open screens.

I agree. And I have not noticed it being a big problem until this season. Its all mental though obviously he just chokes under pressure. I would be willing to bet that if the Bucks were down 1 or 2 when he took that 3 against Cleveland that he probably would have missed it. But being that it was a tie he knew that if he missed it was overtime anyway.

But keep in mind that Redd is not the only max player to have trouble in pressure situations...Dirk and Lebron come to mind as at least having some problems in those situations in the past.

i am reading through the game thread and i have noticed that not one single person has said a bad thing about the blazers. u guys show great class. we appreciate it. u guys are going to be very dominate when u guys get a good pg, hopefully we will to. bogut, charlie v, and bogut are beasts. good luck rest of season

( i also noticed that u guys rarely argue bout refs and their calls. very classy. all boards should follow ur footsteps)
