Go to NBA.com to hear clips from the longest winning streaks in NBA History!

In light of the Houston Rockets tying the 1972 Milwaukee Bucks' for the second longest win streak in NBA history, (when our team actually 'played to win' incidentally), NBA.com overdid themselves by finding these games from their archives that I know a few of you recall and like me truly enjoy!

Listen to Chick Hearn on the call when the Lakers won their 33rd straight game, and listen to our own Eddie Doucette on the call as our Bucks' won #19 or 2o straight wins and hear the the names from yesteryear when NBA basketball was truly basketball!

Wow I got goose bumps listening to Chick describe Gail Goodrich, Jerry West as 'Mr Clutch' and Wilt Chamberlain on the radio...

Eddie used many of his trademark sayings as well...what a beautiful thing sports broadcasting is when it is done to perfection. What an art form..

Anyway I dont know how to cut and paste it, perhaps some of you can do that for me...PaulPressey or MickeyDavis...anyone.

But I am gonna go down to the ole Bucks' offices and see if they cant sell me some ole Bucks games from the 70's they have in their archives that I might hear them again...I will gladly pay for them them to do so.

Ah, back down memory lane...NBA basketball back then. It was a beautiful thing... When winning in this town really mattered!

What a great team that was, and what a fearful franchise we were...

Congratulations to the Rockets that deserved it playing very well through difficulties (actually 8-0 since Yao went down). Obviously they are going to miss Yao a lot, but I think that without him Houston matches up better with teams like GS or PHX. In a series with one of those teams, Yao would have suffered a lot. Despite that, they can play well a series with all of the other teams too, and with this other teams they will maybe miss Yao. It will be interesting to see where they end the regular season in the seeding and which team they are going to play against.

Ah yes, that was a great team and great times...I remember it well. Some things are forever etched in the memory as a sports fans and that was one of them.

I also recalling listening to the Bucks' end the Los Angeles Lakers 33 game win streak the following year at the ole' Milwaukee Arena...

I wanted to go to that game but I think it was on a school night and I could not go...But there was a fired up sellout crowd down at what is now US Cellulular arena.

The 'ole Barn' as Eddie Doucette would call it. It was the place to be back then. There and the ole' Milwaukee Auditorium for AWA Pro wrestling events.

Recalling those glory days puts a somber light on this 40th anniversary year of the Bucks.' Just wicked wicked year with a team full of losers and quitters.

What a shame for a once storied franchise...

If you back to the late 80's the Bucks where known as a winner in the NBA with a rich tradition,now they are a laughing stock,thank you Herb Kohl.

The ironic thing is the Packers in the last 16 or 17 years have been like the Bucks in the 70's & 80's and the Bucks the last 15 0r 16 years have been like the Packers in the 70's & 80's.
