Speculation is that it is to announce Harris will not be back, due to a mutual agreement on both sides. Not surprising.
Sounds like Harris asked for an early decision so he can start pursuing other things.

If speculation is correct, kudos to the individual who called this in the post game thread yesterday.
Edit: It was speedbump. Glory be his.

What are the odds Babcock is promoted to GM today then? Good Lord I really really really really really really hope that does not happen.

That would be an absolute nightmare.
Larry and Cliff are saying that the new guy needs full power and Kohl needs to step back. Umm, ya think?
Now saying they would grade LH as an "F" for his tenure.

Maybe the timing of this also has to deal with this Donnie Walsh speculation?

That is what they are saying now.
Hmm,
1. Bag Revolt
2. Loss to Miami at home
3. Donnie Walsh/Knick speculation
Maybe all three combined in one week finally had Kohl feeling too uneasy?

its strange the same day the NY daily news reported Walsh talked with the Bucks , Larry Harris is relieved of his duties as GM.

Hmmm....bag night protest......GM decisions being made four days later rather than at seasons end........
Yes we knew this would happen eventually, but let's enjoy the speculative correlation while we can. Power to the people boys!
Of course all this is for naught if Kohl doesn't hire a top tier GM and give him power.....

I'll wait to see who the replacement is before I say that. If it's Walsh, I think he will have demanded full power and he's more experienced. If it's Babcock, then I agree.
No diehard fan would buy the Babcock hire, I hope Kohl knows that.

I will forever credit the bag revolt if Donnie Walsh comes aboard.

Great now Herb Kohl can make it out to seem like Larry Harris is responsible for all the teams problems. Look in the mirror old man!
