This is ridiculous. It was all going away, my lawn was almost clear of snow. Then, bam, this crap happens. It's like mother nature wants us to have snow on the ground no matter what month it is. This is my first full day of spring break and there's snow on the ground, ugh! I've lived in Wisconsin all my life but I can't remember having this much snow, ever. I really am sick of this.

We just finished a 15 day heat wave here (15 days of at least 95 degrees), half way through it I would've killed for some snow but from what they show on the news it looks ridiculous over there.

Pretty cruel joke. Melt almost everything, raise the temperature, and then dump a crapload of snow on you on the second day of spring.

I'm playing tomorrow, assuming the weather is OK.

Partly cloudy with a high of 35 tomorrow. The snow probably won't be gone until next week.

I hate snow, and am hating this. But I worry more about when all of this is going to melt down here. I live across the street from the Rock River, which is already above flood stage because of all the melted snow from earlier in the month. Now we're adding another 8 inches? I don't know how bad the flooding is where you are, but it may get really bad down here.

It's because we pretty much haven't had this much snow since meteorologists started keeping track of it.
I agree, this sucks.

What a difference a week makes, last Friday it was sunny and in the 50's.
Thats Wisconsin for you though, just when you think its (winter) over and spring is right around the corner you get a blizzard on March 21.
Although as some of you guys mentioned I have never seen this much snow in one winter in my life and I have lived all 29 of my years in Wisconsin.
A blizzard on March 21 isnt the craziest thing I remember though, the craziest thing and some of you might remember it but we actually had a blizzard like this one in early May back in like 1990 or 1991.
Granted all the snow was melted in about 24 hours due to the how bright the sun becomes by may and the fact it was warm, but it was still very strange.
A blizzard in March in Wisconsin isnt realy all that strange it just pisses you off, ecspecially this year with all the snow we have had.

The blizzard hit Tuesday May 10th 1990. Why is that day burned into my memory, my family had just moved 2 months earlier and May 10th is exactly a week before my birthday. The snow canceled not only school, but my 5th grade band concert that night as well. I'll never forget seeing the 5 foot tall tree we had planted that spring completely bent over to the ground because of the snow, that was the end of that tree.

That was the day before my brother was born.
