I live in milw but haven't watched the bucks for 3 years, since porter's first year. I imagine a rebuild coming, so how about

lhughes and the #10 for redd?

you get:
a nice pick
a much cheaper, shorter deal
a guard who plays better d and passes more

I see yi and bogut as the future up here, plus their pick this year. of course, redd is much better than hughes, but this deal makes sense to me. I'd also deal CV with mo somehow

Done. That gives us better D from SG and a lottery pick and after the 2008-2009 season over $24 million in expiring contracts to possibly get us a star player.

Sounds pretty good to me. I would just be worried about him being injury prone.

Redd hasn't exactly been healthy the past two years.

sure

now what about nocioni?

Allen went for West, wally, and #5. Redd probably not worth as much as that, but I think we can do a little better then that.

I would rather make this deal then have Redd on the team next year though.

Sign me up. Hughes is owed less money, is a serviceable SG who brings more D, and we get a lotto pick.

I'd probably do this trade, though I'd rather expend to include Bell and/or Mason for Nocioni. I can't tell how Bulls fans feel about him though.

Something like....

Redd/Bell/2nd rounder

for

Hughes/Nocioni/1st rounder

Probably not fair for the Bulls anymore there.

Done. Twice over.

Though I would prefer to add Mason over Bell.

I think the Bulls could use Bell more with Duhon on his way out.

If they'd rather have Mason, that;s fine by me.

That's alright, we'll throw Wally and someone at you for Redd and Simmons... It will save the Bucks probably around 40 million or so..

Your owner would probably love it..

The sad part is you're most likely right.

clev has no assets other than expiring-our #10 pick trumps that

I agree.....the only assets the Cav's had that I wanted were Hughes, Gooden and the #1 pick.

If the Bulls would be willing to deal, I'd consider the deal as proposed, but probably wouldn't do it unless we expanded it to swap Dez/Nocioni as Midranger suggested.

Bulls have a lot of assets though I'd like us to trade for......any combination of Hinrich, Noah, Noc, Hughes, Gooden coming back in a Redd deal would make me happy.

Done. I'd trade Redd for any lottery pick.

lovin it....then try to swing #7/#6 to NJ for #11 + #23 (if they don't make the playoffs)

get a guy like augustin, tyler smith, and someone i don't care still better than just redd

I'd be on board for dealing with Chicago. Like GAD said, they have a lot of worthwhile assets. I'd probably do the deal as proposed, but I'd try to expand it first and see if we couldn't pry away Noc or Gooden.
